I Asked People to Rate My Looks and This is What Happened
Ask me to describe myself. One of the adjectives I'd use is "confident." Not confident in a blatant, outright prideful kind of way, but I feel as though I am proud of who I am, what I believe, the people I am blessed with...
How to deal with being the "ugly" sister?
I am by no means ugly but it's difficult to compare myself to someone as gorgeous as my older sister. She is more conventionally beautiful, with a tiny button nose, beautiful big hazel eyes, a small feminine jaw, perfect...
Does a guy need to compete with others?
I am asking this because I am sick and tired of competing with other men. If a guy needs to compete with others, it's called insecurity and I do not like that. Insecurity is a feminine trait because it shows weakness and...

Before you say anything don't worry I'm NOT gonna make a move. There is this guy I have liked since middle school 8th grade to be exact. And i'm the kind of girl to get extremely attached, anyways I liked him fully for 4...
Girls are something else these days.. Can anyone else agree?

When I was young, I was SO uncomfortable with dating. I got nervous thinking about calling a girl and I would stare at the phone for hours before I actually called her. If I got rejected, it was devastating and it might take me weeks to recover from a rejection. As I got older and accumulated some experience, I got excited about meeting a new girl, but I didn't get nervous. If I got rejected, I just started thinking about the next girl. I developed confidence in myself and that meant that I got more dates and less rejections. At last, I was comfortable with dating but it didn't happen until I was 24 or 25 years old. How old were you when you overcame your insecurities and developed confidence in yourself?
