I am an egalitarian, I believe in true equality between the sexes. I believe both genders should get the same opportunities, I believes both genders should be viewed as equal in the eyes of the law, and I feel of a woman wants to fight for her country she should be allowed to.

Yesterday i got into a debate with someone who for all intents and purposes argued against such an idea claiming that women were too biologically weak, now i'm no fool i know full well the biological differences between men and women. However in his eyes, the gap between men and women were so insurmountable that women shouldn't even bother trying. He would then throw arm grip studies and basically his argument was Testosterone=Strength, Estrogen=Weakness. Both genders should just stick to their proper roles

See here's my issue with this, if what he is saying is true then yes, men are biologically superior to women in terms of strength and combat ability. But it's also a double edged sword. It also means that men are more disposable then women and capable of being replaced due to the fact that women can give birth and men cannot. If this is true then men are expected to fight and if need be die to ensure a woman's safety, it would normalize the mentality that a woman is free to leave a man to die in order to save herself, because that's what he's suppose to do.

If my asking around was suppose to make me accept that men and women can never be true equals it failed, in reality all it's done is make me more pro-gun. So here's the long and short of it, if what these people say is true and biology truly cannot be overcome.

Personally a world where this mindset is the norm, isn't a world I want to live in. I understand this is a rather loaded question but there's no way to sugarcoat it.

Many people who support transgender people also often believe that gender is simply a social construct.

They tend to believe that there's almost no difference between the male and female brain, and that our differences in behaviour are more to do with nurture rather than our biological nature. That if we treat young boys and girls exactly the same that they'll turn out to be the same.

Then when it comes to those who claim to be trans however, these same people will then say that a transgendered person is born with a brain similar to the opposite sex, and claim that it's biological.

This is a contradiction. Either we have the same brains and gender is learned, or our differences are biological. Which is it?

We're literally the same, we both have two eyes, two arms, two legs and a head on our shoulders. No one is higher or lower just equal Only difference between us is our genders hormones and how we reproduce sexually. Other than that equal human beings who need each other to reproduce the next generation and so on. But I don't support feminist as they are portrayed and what is being said.

I hear people advocate constantly about why men and women can not be equal. One of the arguments is the biological difference between the 2. I. E men are biologically stronger.

So on paper in a bout between the most physically fit man and woman, the man would generally win most of the time. Note I said on paper.

See there's this myth that men are just better then women at every sport, however there are 2 that I can Think of where women tend to beat men out that being long distance swimming and anything involving acrobatics.

To put it simply the most physically fit woman is generally lighter, more agile, nimble and flexible. Where as a man would be stronger physically but also heavier and much more stocky

So to put it simply the typically ideal physically fit man, is physically stronger but also heavier and thus much slower. Whereas the typically ideal physically fit female is lighter and physically weaker, but much more quicker and agile.

Now we return to the combat situation, assuming the girl can't slip out of the man's grasp all the dude has to do is pin her down and that's it game over, however the woman would likely go for critical points such as knee joints, or go for the neck or balls.

Is it a more difficult situation for the woman absolutely, but far from unwinnable. Keep in mind this is also a hypothetical between a man and woman at peak physical condition. In practice this is hardly the case as women kick men's ass in martial arts all the time.

So I say again, what matters is not the strength of ones arm, but the skill by which one hones it.
