Trying to see if there’s a significant difference between what a man would do and react/feel as opposed to a woman in this topic.

It's hard to say. I can't imagine it being as traumatizing to me as to a female, but I could be wrong. There's no penetration, no risk of pregnancy, in my case. And I have been the subject of very violent physical assaults (gang beating by dozens overpowering me while saving a couple, and ended up in hospital) and even that wasn't too traumatic. I did have something resembling PTSD for some months that came out when I drank, but I stopped drinking and for some months and I became fine. So I just can't imagine it being that traumatizing to me, but again I don't know. Generally I'd just think to try to walk it off and think little of it as long as I didn't catch any diseases or suffer any permanent injuries.

I'm not sure how I'd feel, I've never been in a situation like that. I'd probably feel embarassed, robbed, and would be scared of other's reactions. I'd never want to have sex with anyone other than the person I'll spend my life with, so I'd probably end up degrading myself and constantly blaming myself for not stopping it effectively. Considering most people believe guys always want sex and are always happy about sex with anyone, I'd feel even more embarassed and scared, even secluded, from others

Female to male sexual assault is more likely to involve extreme youth or manipulation as teenagers.

Guys molested or statutorily raped by women seem to become messed up mentally about women, confused about the role of sex, extraordinarily promiscuous, depressed or anxious about romantic relationships or their self worth, cynical about women, self destructive in relationships, confused about power and sex, abuse substances, etc.

I’ve known several. It’s not nothing.

The tv character Don Draper on Mad Men is a prime example. He was raped by a woman. An erection is not consent.

Yes, it is possible for women to rape or sexually assault a man. It tends to happen more when guys are incapacitated by alcohol. I am glad more men are coming forward about their experiences, and I believe how each man chooses to handle it (report it, don't report it, etc.) is up to him and what he feels is right for him.

It may be less common than male on male and male on female rape, but it is no less awful, and these men deserve compassion.

I really hope they would report it to the police instead of worrying about what the others will think. I have couple of guy friends who told me how some of the girls tried to rape them, some spiked their drinks. I asked them, why didn't you report it. Did you tell anyone else about this. They told me they didn't report it and didn't tell any other friends because they thought others especially guys would laugh at them, make fun of them. I think it's horrible. When a girls is molested, sexually assaulted, people feel bad for her and try to give her support. Try to help them in anyway they can, but when it happens to guys. Most people don't take it seriously and ridiculous the victims.

I was molested as a child. I told the adults. My mom pursued action. Guess what. Nothing happens. Dont think for a minute that women are raped more then men. The difference being men ar taught to be brave, tough and strong, so I'd say a good majority compared to women never say anything. The men that do are usually ridiculed, made fun of and degraded for not being a man. Worse if you where rapes by same gender even less likely it's going to be reported because then your made fun of for being gay and other things. But once again men by absurd societies double standards dont get raped and if a man did no one cares anyways.

That depends. Did I know her or was this a sudden assault by an unknown assailant?

I know the person and we have electronic communication, I would try to get a record of her admission of the crime and go to the police with as early as possible, with as much evidence as preserved as possible.

If not… was I bound, blackmailed, drugged, overpowered by numbers…? Where am I? Does the jurisdiction's laws have provisions for male rape-victims or do sex-crimes involve ONLY female-victims, by definition? But, I'd think I would try to contact the police A. S. A. P. on the spot… I guess.

But planning while safe and after the crime in the middle of the trauma are 2 different things.

Hmmm. I think id need to guage the exact scenario to know how id react.

If I was somehow physically held down and forced or anally raped, then yes, I'm going to the police. I'd hope to keep it out of the media spotlight though.

If I was passed out at a party and some girl fucked me while I was asleep, my reaction would depend on several factors:
How impaired was she?
Am I single at the time
Would I have wanted to have sex with her in the first place?
What were my actions before is gotten drunk, or before I'd passed out? What were hers?

I recently read a story of this guy and two of his employees stayed at this hotel on a business trip, well that guy was hard in his sleep and this woman, an employee of his, came into his room (they never had any sort of relationship apart from boss and employee) and raped him in his sleep which he woke up to her riding him... he did want to take her to court and get rid of her but he just let her go and got a restraining order against her.
