I'm a big supporter of control, I believe a sizeable chunk of the population can't be trusted to govern their own lives. I also feel giving them freedom impacts on the quality of life of other people

Everyday on GAG I read the views of people and it confirms in my mind that people are incapable of making simple decisions and coming to the right conclusions.

I know you can't babysit people 24/7 although many would benefit from it, and people have to be allowed to make some decisions but I can't help feel we should limit them to low level things, like what to have for lunch. Big decisions like whether or not to vaccinate should be left to more cleverer people who know best and be compulsory.

Yes I know we have laws, but they don't go far enough and aren't enforced rigorously enough. More importantly it's often bad life choices that eventually lead up to law breaking. By intervening early and taking away people's rights to make stupid decisions we can prevent them from becoming criminals.

You simply can't just let people do what they want. And those that scream freedom are the ones who need kept under control the most.
