Who desires relationships more? Men or women?

I think it's safe to say that most men don't like/want relationships and are only interested in friends with benefits relationships. It seems like men only random hookups and nothing more because I hear them say a lot that they do not want the responsibilities of a serious relationship and that they want their "freedom" (meaning they do not want us to exclusivity or monogamy) they just want sex and a variety of women and we all know that date for the most shallow reasons such as mostly for sex and looks.

While most women tend to seek and desire serious relationships even if it's not for the intention of marriage but a lot of them do tend to want romance and relationships. Which is why they're mostly Friends with Benefits types of relationships because men do not want relationships they only want sex. And the only reason that they do provide relationships and marriages is because they know that that is what most women want and desire but men do not want that for the most part so do you think that men desire relationships less than women or the other way around or do you think that it is even?

Men want harems. Its just evolutionary thing, men want to spread their semen as much as they can and women want the best semen she can receive from most alpha male. Thus our dating strategies reflect that in some ways. Why women seek out quality over quantity. Its mostly subconcious thing meaning we dont sit down and conciously deside to do these things we just have feeling.

I'd like a relationship, but I haven't found a woman wanting one with me, that I've felt the same way about (it seems to always be one sided). So I've "given up" looking. I don't think she's out there and if she is, she's already taken. That and I hate traditional dating. I'd rather get to know someone casually, and if it leads to more, great! Not true, a lot of guys don't even want friends with benefits, I hear dealing with females these days is too stressful beyond a friendship. We want relationships just as much, we're just smarter after our first bad one, we can't just get into another relationship like women can, it just takes time, but you have women wanting to hook up just as much so I think its equal
