Weird question I know; but I am bored and I had a dream about it last night. In which I got a dear John letter from my girlfriend. However, halfway through I realized that the rest of it was a dear John letter to my mom from her. So my dream girlfriend who was also dating my mother broke up with both of us at the same time with the same letter. At any rate, I was just curious how outlandish my dream was. So would any of you ladies date both a mother and her son; or any other parent child combo?

People often think of me as a loser because of this, which honestly pisses me off at times.

The reason I don't date is that I have too many flaws. I still live with my parents, I'm not in my desired career yet, I'm very reclusive, and my mental health is a disaster. I feel like dating requires me to really open up to someone about everything, and I'm not ready to do that. I also want to have a stable income on my own, my dream is to be able to support a family with my income and maybe have a housewife (I'm old fashioned).

As for sex, I'm abstaining from it out of respect for my future lover to be. I'm not religious, I just think that's best. My brother often picks on me for being a virgin, I don't see how his criticism holds any weight since his marriage ended when he decided to cheat on his wife with hookers on Facebook and his child support looks like a shopping list. He's so driven by sex but look where it got him.

So all in all, I'm just not ready to fall in love yet.
