Just some insight on what a girl likes.

In order by the way

7:00 PM You pick me up and we go bowling to one of those sleazy, chill kind of bowling alley's

8:30 ish PM We leave and go to get a late night snack and some ice cream

9:00 ish PM We go frolic at the beach for a while.

Depending on our relationship, we then have sex. That's my dream date.

I absolutely agree with you. I think a lot of guys think more is better, and that's simply not true. Some of the most memorable times I've spent with some men were doing the most simplest things, and some things didn't even cost hardly anything at all. In fact, I felt odd if a guy overspent or wanted to impress me with gifts or with something that I know costs a lot of money, especially if we've just met. That sort of thing made me feel as though I was put on the spot to suddenly become bedazzled by his efforts, pay him back, or give him sex. I don't think a date should involve these uneasy feelings. A date is supposed to be relaxing and fun, not stressful! :)

I think what a lot of men fail to realize is that the date is about forming a connection, not a bunch of false bravado bullshit.
