The best date I ever went on went something like this:
We made plans to go kayaking on the Hudson River and ended up getting too sidetracked in all the fun we were having on the way there (exploring random spots, looking at weird street art, jumping into a fountain) and we never actually made it to kayaking. But it was ok, we walked along the Hudson, got a beer at some point, and watched the sunset over the Hudson. We wandered around some more, got random take out and rode the subways while we ate.
From this I have learned that the best dates are spontaneous. With just a general outline, you go off into the date with no expectations. This gives you a lot of flexibility. Plus, spontonaeity makes people feel romantic, I think. I think the best dates are ones that let you explore your surroundings and each other at the same time.
I don't necessarily agree with these girls about touching. I think it depends on HOW you touch. Don't slobber all over a girl of course. But I think holding hands or putting your arm around a girl makes her feel good and wanted. Also, if you feel comfortable, forehead kisses never fail. Never ever. This date I mentioned, this was a first date with the guy I am with now. Even though it was our first date, I liked how physically affectionate he was - mostly because it seemed like he wasn't trying to get in my pants. It seemed like he was doing it because he just liked being around me that much.
Anyway, good luck, go with the flor and have a ton of fun while you're at it. The goal is to feel good and to make the girl feel good with you.

rent her favorite movie and order pizza. just sit at your house and just watch it and talk. hold hands with her and let her lay on you. don't be too touchy. and at the end you can talk and kiss some.
or... one of my friends did these things and they were adorible
1. she told him that she wanted to hang out with him saturday and see him at about 2. before then, she hid hints at different places around the city. it was a hunt to find her. when it was 2, she called him and he asked where she was and she said that he had to find her and the first clue was in his mailbox. it led to a place, then another place, then you get the picture. Then, finally, the last place was the park. there she had a little picnic set up with his favorite foods and a frisbee to play with. he loved it.
2. one night, she drove him to this place. he didn't know where they were going. she drove him to a pond where she had set up 100s of floating candles in the water. there was a table, also with candles on it, on the wooden dock. she had food for him. after they ate and talked for hours, she had a blanket and the two of them layed on the dock looking at the stars talking about their dreams and kissing every now and then.
true stories true stories. haha they were soooo cute!
Something adventurous.
Don't be too touchy feely
and flirty. be fun and exciting
towards the end after all the fun have about ten minutes
of romance (Serious conversations, a kiss here and there, holding hands, caressing my body and such). Go somewhere most people don't think to go. Take her to play laser tag, its not painfull and she can fun and so can you. Or take her to a fair if one is going on. Or now that its the holidays take her on a carriage ride or something like that. But make shure there's non stop laughing throughout whatever you do, that's the best way. Then after you go do stuff, take her to eat, don't take her to the nicest restraunt ever, but don't take her to mc.donalds. Take her somewhere average that'll cost about 50-70 dollers for both of you. that's all! don't spend too much on this date, that's just a kiss ass. Start the romance with her there, then take her home and kiss her in the car and walk her to her door, don't act like you want to go in, expect to be leaving don't eexpect nothing more, but if you get invited, do your thang :)
Well I don't know what we would do exactly, but I'd be with the girl of my dreams, and I'd be really "in the zone" if ya know what I mean, and I'd get her to laugh a lot and I would just look into her eyes and she'd look into mine, and I would just feel so alive...
then we'd go for a walk as the sun is setting, and there's a little breeze, and we stop and face each other, maybe on a beach or something, her hair is blowing in the wind, and we kiss passionately... *sigh*
That sounds amazing. I only hope there's a girl out there for me that could feel the very same way as I would for her... It gives me goosebumps just thinking about a girl loving me for me!
Ahhh... I'm a hopeless romantic. obviously... ;)
I am not sure about which I would call my best date, but last night was nearly perfect.
A woman I had found on a "swingers" site came over for a massage. She looked so much better than her picture that I thought she should have new pictures taken. She was naked in the first five minutes, and we spent the next hour and half trying not to fall off of the massage table.
I should say that I have been a member of swingers sites for a years and this is not very typical of the normal experience.

The perfect date for me would be doing something fun, or new. I like going to movies, but they can get kind of boring. If a guy really wants to impress me, he could take me to a new restaurant that just opened, or to a city fair, or something along those lines. An exciting first date is a really good way to keep my attention.
In other words my perfect date would be dinner at a new restaurant, or a picnic dinner where we can talk without interruptions. Followed by a fair or amusement park for some fun and laughs. Something laid back and fun.
In the winter, an impromptu snowball fight, or an afternoon of ice skating. Building a snowman can be fun too. Something where you don't need to have perfect hair and makeup, and don't need to get dressed up for a fancy restaurant. Just going outside and having fun.
A lot of bars have live entertainment which can be a lot of fun.
Basically, something that isn't the "normal" date. Something fun, and unexpected.I have 2 dream dates...
1. First we go watch a movie...a really funny comdey.. mind... at about 3.00... so it ends around 5 to 6... you grab some of your fav food from you fav joint.. and then surprise her... take her in your car to the beach.. and cover her eyes... and take her blindfolded (or hands over her eyes) to where you can see the sunset the best... and where there are two comfortable rocks... to sit on.. depends on the girl though... you might also want to drive her nuts by holding a false proposal scene right there.. and giving her a beautiful yet simple piece of jewelery... or asking her to dance... total rocks!
2. You could get her over to your place.. and set a couch with some low lighting.. and watch a movie... or do something tgether.. with some finger snacks or dinner... tell her really lovely things... kiss her... cuddle... tickle... do whatever you want... but romantically..!Something fun! An amusement park or carnival. Lets face it there's a kid in all of us. A game of laser tag, something that is fun and unpredictable. Dates don't always have to be so serious, it about connecting and I believe having fun and games will form a connection! Getting ice cream is good too! :)
Thats how my boyfriend got me. We still do fun things. I don't really like fancy restaurants anyways. I'll take a trip to a CiCs's Pizza than a fancy restaurant any day! Really something that is simple, fun, and not other the top!My idealistic date:
Set in Barcelona in June. Both of us in fine attire. A pleasant meal in a Michelin Star restaurant overlooking the National Museum. Plenty of sangria. Then a romantic stroll in the moonlight to the top of Montjuic. Passionate lovemaking in a secluded part of the park.
This is may never happen, though I have hopes of doing this for when (if) I propose to a girlfriend.if he plans it out and we have fun, doesn't matter where we go. I'd love to just walk in a park, go for icecream, go visit some antique/ vintage shops or anime shops or just walkin a mall with him if he really cares and he's nice, idk, it could be anywhere.
he takes me for a ride on his motorcycle along the coast, then we stop for a picnic on the beach with champagne. that's the a summer date. a winter date would be staying in a lodge at a ski resort, with a fireplace, and drinking champagne on a faux bear skin rug, and both dates include ridiculously crazy sex =)
and neither of these dates would be considered a 'perfect date' if they were with anyone other than my boyfriend.hmm He picked me up and we went to the movies.. but we never got out of the car... we just sat in silence.. and then I went for it. Most perfect kiss ever. we stayed in the car and missed the whole movie... then he took me to meet his parents and the whole way there we kissed at the stoplights and stop signs...
It was different, but it was the best date ever, and weve been together ever since.Going to an educational activity where we both could get into it (museums, art galleries, speeches, protests) and then dinner with dessert. Yeah man.
Remember, a date is like writting a paper, you need to find events relevant to your audience so they can relate to them and have fun.Hmmm... I don't think it would depend on the situtation for me. More if I felt comfortable with the person, and our conversation was smooth and interesting and making me more drawn towards her.
The perfect date for me would be either dinner or ice cream and a walk in a park. I love being in nature and I would totally give a guy kudos for wanting to do something outside!
For me the old dinner and a movie, then maybe a nice walk. Nice kiss at the door. I may be lame for thinking this would be the perfect date, but that's what I would like.
any time and place where we can just laugh and talk and connect. doing anything just to keep it interesting. I prefer to just wing it and do lots of random stuff with her. others may be more organized than me :)
get a movie called the notebook. turn the lights off. get under the blanket(both of u) , kissing touching all this. enjoy
my idea is dinner at a quiet resturaunt and then a walk on the beach, and watch the sun set over the waves.
you know? as long as its with the right person, I would have fun doing anything.
A nice date to the beach around late afternoon when the suns about to set. Grab some food from my favorite place to eat and then watch the sunset. And then a bonfire with a makeout session. Yeah.
have plans for the beach , swim and bbq there from evening till night.
No distractions, pleasant conversations, just two people. I'm not a fan of double dates.
one who would like me for who I am... not for what I am or what I look like.
Beyonce turning up and seriously coming onto me. Perfection! ;)
