I don't know where you live but if you like the back of a pickup truck and the Stars Black Rock Desert where they hold Burning Man is one of the most beautiful places in the world it's one of the most spiritual feelings you will ever get it night time because the stars look like they're twenty feet above your head it is so beautiful it went that's all you see when you look up are millions of stars right above your head it makes you feel a certain way it's very spiritual it's very sexy it's very hot so yeah I would I would love to do that make a bunch of food mine the back of your bed of the truck with memory foam nice down blankets big pillows and just a big smile and I'm ready to go
City girl here, but I'll definitely add it to my bucket list.
Any date that goes on for hours but feels like it didn't last long enough is a good date. Otherwise I'm very cliché, I live near the beach and I could beach comb for hours and hours and I consider that an enjoyable date. Other places I like are zoos and aquariums or theme parks for first one or two dates. After that concerts and movies or life theater is nice. I don't like restaurants because I don't trust quality or food safety (I'm a former sous chef and know how little most restaurant workers care about food safety) so I'm inclined to prepare dinner. I'm a good cook and better than anyone I've ever dated so I will prepare my date a nice meal early in the dating process.
A nice dinner inside is also a good date. Even cooking dinner together.
Cooking together yes, if she already knows how to cook it can be a fun date or even if it ends up me giving cooking lessons. But I also don't mind having her just sit there and watch while I do my thing. It can turn erotic if we start baking something together. Ever see that scene in Ghost where Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze are working clay on the pottery wheel together? It can be like that when working pastry dough together.
I love that scene!
I like city lights so I think a trip to Niagara Falls at night time and maybe a trip to the garden or lake side near Niagara during the day. I have not gone since the pandemic started so I do not know what it’s like now.
i really want to have a picnic in the middle of the woods and watch the sunset through the trees. or maybe go roller skating. anything active.
Nice

The amusement park was my favorite, and especially for a first date.
I like dates that get the heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping, and filled with lots of laughter. I'm in my 40s now and been married for over a decade, but if I was still single, I'd still want to take my first dates (even if the women are my age) to the amusement park. Also, a woman my age who is still down for riding things like rollercoasters would probably be very compatible with me (someone who still has an inner child).
Lol absolutely not
Absolutely not your cup of tea? I think that's true for most women I meet, and especially as the years roll by. I've always been most sentimental about those laughs though after something like a rollercoaster ride and holding hands after and swinging them like kids even though we were adults. Somehow those moments take the foreground in my mind and even over first kisses and sunsets and the like.
Lol I'm not a fan of rollercoasters. I do love amusement parks for the games tho
Picnic in the park, followed by a stroll through town in the evening and leaving the night open ended to whatever comes our way
Or
Bowling we can compete and talk and get to know each other at the same time and most bowling alleys have food too.
Or a day at the lake/river/pool to pack a lunch and go for a swim
You can't go wrong with a coffee date but I prefer something we're both of us could be active and be able to laugh at each other if we mess up or to compliment each other if we succeed so something that can be playfully competitive is good too.
Bowling is fun
I do own a truck. But to your question.
I prefer to go out and have a good time at a museum of art; or head out to hike a trail, then later have a great meal; followed by a walk in the woods, enjoying the night sky. Or we could tail gate at a beach watching the moonlit waves, as they crash against the surf.
I enjoy basic, but I like to make it interesting. I like to have a little twist, and a possible surprise. The day I find the right woman, she will not see me asking her; when she hears the question, she will be blindsided. I treat all women well. Since that is my normal, they do not know just when I will surprise them.
I do like a date that ends on a good note; with the possibility of a lasting relationship. I had to stop kissing women, at the end of a date; that always ended in a very long night; and they were worth it!!! Good women, with a great heart!!!
I always like idea about some activities, so closest one for your option would be row boat in nature and calm relaxing lake, sunny day. For my own preference something like indoor rock climbing would do, tension can be focused more on activity rather than directly at eachother wich can make things super awkward fast. Any easy going relaxing activity would do.
Sounds good
I love the boho pics you put up. I've always dreamed of van life with a partner.
My ideal date is a hike together on a beautiful trail with some booze. Go back home order some food, have some wine and watch a movie and then have sex if we're feeling it. Maybe instead if a movie, we just chill in a bathtub while eating and having wine.
My friend lives in a tricked out van and I would totally do the same
Go out for a candlelight dinner and dancing to violin music. Then we go to my place or her place, take out clothes off, take a romantic bubble bath together, have the most amazing sex and cuddle naked under a heavy blanket while we watch some funny movies.
Lol that's oddly specific
Just casually hanging out and talking, getting to know each other, almost like two friends hanging out and having a deep conversation.
Just me and the other person, maybe in a more private area and calm, quiet environment, so not loud people in the background.
Live music somewhere. Good drink or two without getting drunk. Good vibe and atmosphere. Good kiss when it’s all done. That doesn’t mean all out sex (maybe or maybe not). But just a good feeling she likes and most importantly respects me. That is número uno mayoría importante.
I’m not going to bend over backwards for women who don’t give me a chance.
I like both pic ideas you posted, like I really do want a picnic date, one by the beach with him playing music he picked out just for me and food he got for us. And I would make him something special just for him.
Yeah fingers crossed to be able to experience it lol
We had quite a few of these. I think that my favorite was when my wife was living in a coastal town in New England and it was our third date. We had a cookout on the beach and came to the conclusion that we really did belong together.
Afterwards we went back to her house and it was the first time we made love.
I have a truck and lots of open sky here. 😉
I'm just sayin.
Awesomee
Just want to be with that person, I don't care where we go or what we do. Even just going on a walk would be fine with me. Or sitting next to a fireplace.
🐁🧀🍕
I legit would go here with a girlfriend, pizza and video games = yes.
Love their pizza
Oh come on!! 😭😭 I'm trying be a comedian here!! 😭😭
I'll try the first perfect date in a jail cell the next time!! 😭😭
lol arcades are the best though.
At least Chuck e cheese's are now getting some businesses from me now!! 😂
Thanks for the great Idea.
Curling up under a blanket and watching the stars in the back of a pickup actually sounds amazing.
Right!
My boyfriend and I went to a drive in theater in his mustang. It's a convertible so we rolled the top down and just looked at the stars and ate chicken tendies.
I dont know I had never experienced not even one date so I can't tell LOL!!
I mean neither have I, but I still know what I like.
I don't mean to be rude or anything (and I sincerely hope you take no offence to this question but...
Are you really 50 years old?
@Rippersavage Yes why?
Been there, done that in the desert with a pickup truck.
Jealous
Picnic sounds great... on a calm winter's day so we can snuggle up as the night draws in.
Maybe a late Autumn day lol
Playing boardgames at 2am and everything making you laugh because of sleep deprivation then pooring a glass and watching the sunrise together with a cat on the airchair next to you
yes
There’s no such thing as the idea of a perfect date. If you have an idea of the perfect date or the perfect person, you’re not living for the enjoyment of the experience; you’re living believing you actually have control. The world is at large, it’s our job to just go with what it gives us.
Go. away with this negative bullshit. Either the answer the question or keep it moving.
No. This is objective reality I refuse to accept your subjective ideology. The real world simply is, you can choose to exist in it or you can continue to wonder why things aren’t working the way you planned them.
