What a great question!

You may enjoy reading this my take I posted a couple months ago: The Perfect Future Date.

Aside from that, which would require a truckload of money, I believe the perfect date includes dinner and some sort of activity. A walk around a city. A walk in a park. A movie. A show. A comedy club.

Possibly even better is a quiet afternoon in a coffee shop with just plain great conversation.

Equally awesome are dinner cruises or anything including a boat or ferry.

I became a couple with the girl I knew I wanted to marry.
Sadly, she had other plans.
It still hurts; it'll be 31 years next Thursday... Sunday, the 12th of January 1992 - the worst date.

Great conversation is the thing, the rest is secondary. Ideally we would do something mildly strenuous, like a mountain hike.
