The election is over, Trump will be our new president. Or will he? People are now asking if it's possible to change their vote. Then only reason to ask if they can is because they wish they vored for Harris. Nobody who voted for Harris wants to change their vote to Trump. It wouldn't matter because he's president-election. I don't recall any election where a large portion of the population wants to change their vote. It may be enough to flip several states. I don't recall this being an issue in previous elections, so I don't think we have any laws regarding this. If you changed your mind on the person you voted for before they're sworn in, and there's a large enough number to feel that way, should your state hold another election before inauguration?

Is the very existence of Android proof ENOUGH that it's NOT a monopoly?

Should the EU be dictating terms to Apple to make changes?

Are you aware of the @25% commissions and fees that Apple charges app developers?

That Apple refuses to open up Apple Pay for other purposes (hotel keys, rewards cards a& such)?

Many measures have been created because people do stupid things. Maybe we should remove some of these measures that allow people to be stupid and let nature do its thing. 3 examples below:

1. Pedestrians

Society as a whole would rather place the burden of protecting pedestrians on the drivers rather than having the pedestrians actually care about their own safety. For example, society expects that, even if the pedestrian jaywalks on a 50mph road instead of simply waiting for the light to change and the driver cannot stop in time, the driver should swerve into a ditch rather than hit the pedestrian. The natural selection way would be that, if the pedestrian made this mistake and got hit, the driver would not be seen as at fault. Obviously nobody wants the pedestrian hit, but if their actions caused the issue then it shouldn't be expected for the driver to hurt their livelihood or car to accommodate someone who didn't care about their own safety. If the law made the pedestrian take some accountability, then maybe they would wait their turn before crossing the road.

2. Consuming things not meant for human consumption.

Before the Tide Pod challenge, nobody needed to be told to not eat something meant to clean clothes. Now tide pods have to have warnings to not be consumed. There are many things like this. The natural selection way would be to let the idiots learn the hard way. Maybe they survive and maybe they don't. If they live, they learn. If not, then their stupidity caused it and likely they died before they could be a nuisance in the future at someone else's expense.

3. "Pranks".

Saw a youtube video where a guy goes into dangerous hoods asking people "Want to get popped?" then reaches into his pocket to pull out a soda. If you ask me that and reach in your pocket, then I'm assuming you plan to smoke me and I have the right to defend myself. Natural selection way would be to place the blame on the idiot youtuber, not the person in fear of getting popped.

The Georgia State Election Board voted on Friday to force counties to hand-count all ballots cast on Election Day, a move critics say could significantly delay the reporting of results in the battleground state and inject chaos into the post-election period.

The new rule, which passed on a 3-2 vote, runs counter to extensive legal advice from the top election official and law enforcement officials in the state. A nonpartisan collective of local election officials had also objected to the change.

The new rule is the latest in a stream of right-wing election policies passed by the State Election Board over the past few months. The board has come under increasing pressure from critics already concerned that it has been rewriting the rules of the game in a key swing state to favor former President Donald J. Trump. Last month, the board granted local officials new power over certifying the election, which opponents say could potentially disrupt the process if Mr. Trump loses in November.

The new rule to require hand counting in addition to a machine count, critics argue, could introduce errors and confusion into the process and potential disrupt the custody of ballots.

Just what if biologically we evolved to have horns like those herbivores? It tend to be the males who grow horns/antlers. And it would grow during puberty. It could change history, religious beliefs, laws, weaponry, clothings and beauty standards. If it's actually really sharp that can actually impale anyone, I can just imagine guys just cutting them off to turn them into personal knives, spears or arrows. But that would actually make them more dangerous than attractive but let's say if we naturally grow horns but just dull or the not so big ones. Horn salons and products would have been a thing and they would probably be so uncomfortable but I think humanity will just find a way to handle it.
