I was scrolling through some photos I have saved and noticed I happen to have two versions of this one. I can, and sometimes do, edit and flip them, yet this was not done by me. I wonder what the original photographer's cropping was, or if he flipped it to make it better, in his view.

Anyway, a small question, but wondering which one you prefer.
There is a theory I learned many years ago that depending on what region of the globe you reside, you may prefer certain photographic and art compositions over others, and it could be related to your language and what directions (left-right, up-down, etc.) you read.

This is not a personality test, and there are no right or wrong or mystical answers. I have a background in photography and design and these sorts of things interest me, particularly now when they may be related to sociology and cultural differences. These geographical and cultural differences may also influence your preference for what direction the subjects look or face, visual weight, negative space, how visually dense or sparse you prefer, in art, interiors, etc.

Anyway, this is probably one of the things I like most about GAG - so many different people and cultures mixing and mingling together.
If you feel like it, tell us where you're from, and maybe we'll see some common pattern? Or maybe not.

Would you not want to date someone because of their weight? Do you have a preference for weight at all? I would like to see your answers :)

I am in my late twenties and never been in a real relationship. The one guy I did date, I felt like I had to settle because no one better came around. He was a decent person but I wasn’t physically attracted to him. I was always under the impression that my lack of attraction from guys was because of my weight.

A few years later, I’m still thick but definitely smaller than what I was before. I don’t have friends so I have to use the apps to meet people and as you’d assume it’s a disaster. I mean I’m told I’m cute, some say pretty etc but I just can’t find a man. The ones I was physically attracted to only want sex and the ones that pursue me have decent personalities but they’re too short for my preference or just not attractive to me.

I see women often that are average or maybe heavier than me, with guys I find good looking, and really wonder how they were able to find them. I feel if I settled with any of the guys I mentioned I attract, I will always feel bothered at the fact that I can’t get the kind of man I really want. So that’s why I stay single, it seems permanent considering I’m only getting older and told myself this would improve as the years go by.

Im asking all genders. Not limited to what you prefer in other people but also what you find ideal for yourself. I’m just curious what average preferences are. I’m not asking bc I’m worried or feel bad. Not even a recent pick.

I have seen guys making takes about women being single. I mean you can have preferences but the problem is that guys who do the takes just trashtalk women who are not like their preferences. They mostly degrade single mums, non modest and non traditional women who are single in her 30s. The funny thing is that the same guys are old single fucktards in their 30s or older, have no problem with being a male whore but complain about women being promiscuos, want young women when their brain development is not finished but also get annoyed at their so called bad/immature decisions and these guys ain't young themself. Justify this shit with fertility but also men's sperm quality get shittier the older they get. I dont think any woman want a mental ill/disabled kids. I even see some male cunts justifying being a player aka playing with people's feelings like and these guys should not complain about women who use them for money. If you one these guys why should an high quality woman would an damaged good like you with shit quality sperm? Men after 30s are leftovers in my culture. I also dont think any women would choose a young fit man over an old man. By the way european men tend to be overweight but the same retarted western guys have the audacity to complain about western women's weight although they are landwhales themself according to statistics and also get triggered when women have physical preferences like them

I just don’t understand how I fail to attract a man that I want. I know I’m only 26 but am 100% certain that I’ll end up alone. I know I’m not beautiful but should be able to attract a decent man. I’ve been on and off the dating apps for years with no success, here’s my luck: 1) the attractive guys are just flighty/want sex, 2) the decent looking guys that have a decent personality are just too short for my preference and 3) the ones with the good personalities are just not attractive. Why can’t I find a guy that’s tall, decent looking and not a dick? I mean I’m not morbidly obese, I’m thick but I thought there’s guys who dig that. Even a little slimmer, men did not talk to me. I lost a lot of weight 3 years ago assuming that would result in more attention From the opposite sex and it hasn’t. Is this common or is there just something terribly wrong with me? I don’t feel the urge to have casual sex, I don’t really care for sex much at all. I don’t even masturbate, the only guy that I ever “dated” was just not attractive and I was so angry that I couldn’t get better. I’m glad that ended, I know my worth. I’d rather be alone then settle and be miserable, I live by that.

I am venting and know I might get some hate for this. I’m 26 with no real dating history. I’ve had a short term relationship which was absolute shit. I was told in HS and college to wait it out, be patient and focus on your education. Years later, I’m graduated, own my place and have a decent living. I don’t necessarily want kids but I just don’t get my lack of suitors. I know I’m not a ten, at least cute. People have complimented my looks, I struggled with my weight growing up. I was chubbier so I can see how in Hs I was overlooked. Now I’m thinner, I gained a bit of weight during COVID but am close to my smallest weight from 3 years ago. I looked alright in college and never got approached. I hate when people ask why I don’t have a man and while that question can either be a compliment or just a dig to get into my business, I wonder myself. I’ve been on the dating apps for years and have called quits, was on and off. I was just frustrated with the guys that came my way. I always attract the men I would not want to date physically, hence why that short term relationship I had did not work. On the rare occasion I send a message first, it fizzled out very quick. When guys message me first, it goes a little further. The cute guys are usually dicks, the decent looking guys are alright but a little too short for my preferences and the less attractive guys are always pursuing. They have decent personalities but just not what I want in a man. Am I just cursed or too picky?
