Me and my girlfriend have been together 2 years. We’ve struggled with many things especially our sexuality. Our sex life hasn’t been the best, I’ve tried so hard to make her want it and nothing. These past 2 months we’ve been fighting and only had sex once.

For the past 2 weeks we’ve been trying to work on our relationship. She told me all these sex moves she’s gonna give me on my birthday. Today Christmas Day was my birthday and she refused to be intimate. She said to me “all you care about is sex”. Yet she’s the one who started grabbing my genitalia’s just to refuse.

I was so mad I went and had sex with a nurse who gave her number when I was in the hospital. I don’t agree with cheating but my girlfriend deserved it. Also, I plan on breaking up with her when the holidays are over!

People cheat. Sometimes people cheat on good people for almost no reason. Most people will bend the internal morality of their actions around their wants and desires. People will swear on their grandmothers grave they’d never sleep with somebody after meeting them once, and then shock themselves by sleeping with THAT person when they eventually encounter them.

Love is essentially transactional, not just monetarily but emotionally and physically. Sometimes people just don’t want to be with you any more. Looks are a MASSIVE part of attraction. Comfort kills attraction. Your partner is not yours, it’s just your turn.(MOST relationships will end sooner or later). Most people believe they’re more righteous and principled than they are. Morality has nothing to do with arousal. Both genders are struggling to find fulfilling partners because one side has grown weak and one side is now free to select for what they want which is the best of the best. Certain immutable traits are key. Most relationships after a couple of years are routine and not sexually fulfilling. People are nowhere near as unique in their behaviour as they think they are.

Is everyone out there trying to use, break hearts and cheat? NO. Most human beings are very much looking and trying consciously to attain and build the perfect, unconditional, long lasting loving relationship. That’s their conscious motive. But life is life and it truly hits people harder and at weirder angles than they could possibly have anticipated. Good sweet innocent people surprise themselves. The righteous fall. Most are not as strong or as selfless as they think. Those who believe they deserve the world can only actually attain very little. There is no such THING as deserve, there is, isn’t, won’t, will and can and can’t.

To simply DENY all this stuff is a product of either lack of exposure or choosing to deny. Which is fine.

I ruined a good opportunity several years ago with a woman who could of been my wife. I didn’t cheat but I didn’t appreciate and reciprocate the love/respect she gave me. It was a complicated situation but I failed to communicate effectively. I owned up to being in the wrong when she broke up with me.

But it’s almost been 10 years now and I have had other gfs and flings. Nothing has come close to what I once had with this woman. No one understood me like she did.

However I’ve seen plenty of other shitty women I’ve past known manage to successfully get married and have kids. Who knows if their husbands are their dream men but something must of worked for them to settle down. But it doesn’t seem like men get as many second chances as women do when we screw up a good opportunity.

It was the only time in my entire life I made a mistake like that. She actually did something to deeply hurt me after ever split. That’s a whole another story but bad karma does exist I already got it back seven fold and got it back hard.

But why I do feel like I have had bad lingering karma ever since? Or is it that men in general have fewer options?
