I broke the "no contact" do I still have a chance?

A week ago I broke the no contact after around 7 months of no contact by sent her a Christmas text and asked her 'how have you been?' She replied the text cordially with really long answer. She explained that she tried to respect me by not contacting me, she also brought the past issue between us, that I already asked her for forgiveness. She's the one who dumped me anyway (not because I cheated with another girl, but because of small misunderstanding). She asked me to leave 7 months ago. That's why I did the "no contact". But she didn't respond to whenever I talked about she asked me to leave. And in the end I felt that she still cares for me, then I asked her for forgiveness one last time, then she said "ok enough I forgive you already"

Do I still have a chance? What should I do next? I really miss her, want her back and I don't want this "no contact" happen again in my life twice, cause it's like hell lol. Thank you.

I know it’s tough, but the truth is that most likely, any chance that you had of the relationship continuing was actually lost 7 months ago. I’m going to guess that regardless of what she may tell you, she has likely moved on a while ago and it would probably be best to begin preparing yourself for that reality and working on doing so yourself.


If she doesn’t value you enough to not break up with you over what you say is a small misunderstanding, then she’s likely not worth being with anyway. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but I also want to be honest with you and not let you get your hopes up for a thing that likely will never work the way you’re wanting. Hope that helps, and sorry if it came off as harsh. I have been there. It really will get better eventually for you, and you will find a person who values you as much as you value them!

Yeah I know right, guess she shouldn't broke up with me over small matters. It was just because of I criticized her behavior, I was too direct and prob a bit harsh, though I ask for forgiveness if I did wrong. But I don't know why it took her a really long long time to just forgive me, like I did a really big mistake. Well I think I should think clearly bout this one more time before I decide to make another move. Thanks for the suggestion.

First off, why did she dump you? What was this supposed misunderstanding that you have said here?

She sounds more annoyed and done with you from the look of it. "Ok, enough, I forgive you already." Tells me that she is tired of talking with you and wants to be left alone.

No contact isn't going to help you if there is no attraction on her end. Women stay in contact with men they like. She would have reached out at some point. She never did. That's telling of itself. I say you are better off letting go and moving on. Your wording here suggest you have been reaching out more than you have let on.

Why do you want her back? IF you want her back, be upfront about it, don't beat around the bush. Be direct.

I don't think you should try again. It seems like you really like her but I think she's lost her feelings for you, if you really miss her that bad you could attempt to be friends, but don't say I didn't warn you about what might happen..

if you're really desperate, you could try write a letter (on paper) and mail it to her, or slip it under her doorstep, because the curiosity may get the best of her and she'll open the letter. (also, dont write that its from you)

I would communicate with her what you no longer want to happen and would not have reached out through text, if you want her talk to her and ask how you both can work on things
