There are thousands of undocumented immigrants in my area and more coming... overflowing the capacity of the city to manage them.

I will be running into them at some point and so will some of you. Maybe they will be hopping the train soon and visiting my area... wouldn't shock me.

How would you like me and other Americans to treat them?

I don't want to hear about the govt, send them back... I'm not the govt, I don't have that power. When you have a human in front of you, what would you like done?

My opinion is... as citizens, we can either accept them as people, or reject them. The govt is going to do what it does, I have no say. So my view is accept them, treat them as guests that they are, which is how we should treat all Americans. Encourage them and help them if we are able.

And do double that for americans that are down on their luck.

If we fail to handle the people well, we could see social chaos and crime and gangs form from the children that suffer... and that will be a tragedy. All these people need "salvation" and community, immediately. Open up all churches, open soup kitchens, get them tested for health issues, and treat them as guests.

See... I told you I was a bleeding heart liberal... no-one believed me...

The modern holiday was first celebrated in 1907, when Anna Jarvis held the first Mother's Day service of worship at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church in Grafton, West Virginia. Andrew's Methodist Church now holds the International Mother's Day Shrine. Her campaign to make Mother's Day a recognized holiday in the United States began in 1905, the year her mother, Ann Reeves Jarvis, died. Ann Jarvis had been a peace activist who cared for wounded soldiers on both sides of the American Civil War, and created Mother's Day Work Clubs to address public health issues. She and another peace activist and suffragette Julia Ward Howe had been urging for the creation of a "Mother's Day For Peace" where mothers would ask that their husbands and sons were no longer killed in wars. 40 years before it became an official holiday, Ward Howe had made her Mother's Day Proclamation in 1870, which called upon mothers of all nationalities to band together to promote the "amicable settlement of international questions, the great and general interests of peace." Anna Jarvis wanted to honor this and to set aside a day to honor all mothers because she believed a mother is "the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world".

My ex-girlfriend broke up and ghosted me, she admits it's because she has some mental health issues. Now the issue is that we have a mutual friend so I can still get a message across. I want to tell her to delete all the pics I sent her of myself, some of them are NSFW, and also pics of my artwork (musical notations & paintings)? Any pics of us together she can do whatever she wants with it. I will also make it clear that I will do the same with all of her pics too.
