My situation is this. I was abused by my father who had a drinking problem when I was younger. Around age 12 or 13 was the worst time when he physically abused me by hitting me. My parents later divorced and I chose to stay with my mom, I did not want much to do with my father. I did not feel safe with him and the violence caused some emotional trauma that I needed to get away from. Over the years he hasn't helped me with anything and didn't even call to see if I needed help. Now I'm older and started talking to him again about a year ago when he wished me a happy birthday really I was just hoping he would offer to help me pay off my student loan debt or something as a way to make up for the past. But he never asks if I need help and never offers. He merely texts me to ask how I'm doing, and I am tempted to tell him I don't need a buddy to ask me how I'm doing. I needed a father and now I don't need one anymore. A father's role is to protect and provide which he didn't do for me. My spiritual father says he forfeited his role when he failed to do these things. I would like to confront him about the past again, last time I did about eight years ago he denied everything. I would say that it's hard for me to forge a relationship with no Foundation seeing as he never asked for forgiveness or confessed anything. Thank you for your feedback and feel free to comment.

So one of my husband's co-workers had a 40th birthday party and invited us, and his wife seemed super friendly and gave me her number. She told me to call/text so we can get together and go thrift shopping. So I had her number for a week and then I finally texted her today and asked her to do the coffee & thrift shopping date. She said something along the lines of "let's do it!! my daughter is in day care 9-1 and the thrift store opens at 10" and I said "ok, but coffee first?" Then I turned off my phone because I think that was not cool to say. I"m so lame. I am such a loser. Slightly having a mini panic attack right now.

I am so stupid. I desire friendship and relationships but I think everyone is judging me all the time so I don't want to be around people and feel "hate". It's like a lose lose. I have a friend but I think she will KILL me, then I have no friends then I think I will die of loneliness.
