So I met this guy named Dan through a mutual friend. He and I really hit it off. We started texting and then he asked me to follow him on Instagram so that I could see his photos that he takes for his photography business. I followed him there and we began talking through the messaging there. Yesterday was his birthday, so I sent him a message and a short video just wishing him well. I didn’t message for the rest of the day since I knew he would be busy with his family. In the evening however, I went to Instagram and asked him how his day went. I noticed that he started posting pictures of his birthday celebration. I commented on a few and then I noticed that he was heavily flirting with another woman in the comments. Now I am not his girlfriend or anything, so I have no right to be upset but it did hurt a bit given the great connection we have. I decided to just go to bed and wash my hands of it. This morning I went on there to see if he ever read my message. I noticed that he was online but never replied back to me. He was posting more pictures of himself and this time I decided not to “like” them, I just closed the app and have been going about my morning. Should I just accept that he is not that into me and move on or should I stick around and see if he wants to talk again at some point?

We had been on several dates before he asked me to follow him on Instagram. I felt like there was a good connection there.
