Recently single and I'm trying really, really hard to put myself back out there. I'm debating whether or not being childfree should be a part of my marketing strategy. On one hand, I think it would represent that I have time/money for a potential partner.

On the other, I was told on here that a lot of women are programmed to think that a man that does not have/does not want kids simply doesn't want to commit. Can't be further for the case for me... I'm strictly monogamous and have never cheated. I've also been told that some think that CF men can't "get it up". I'm ace but sex neutral so everything works down there as it should in the case that I have a more sexual partner in the future. I'm really at a loss... hence the poll.

There is has been a persistent stereotype than men are slower grow up. I guess that is semi true when you see some men being proud man whores in their mid 30s. But when it comes to other things like his career, emotional control, etc. men are held to a very high standard when they hit a certain age. And yet you often see examples of “man childs” in movies, TV and the media.

But from my observations there are a lot of grown ass women who never grow up. They are still committing infidelity, they have little control over their emotions, they confidently friendzone guys who they know like them, they feel entitled to money and/or men who are way out of their league. I knew a 41 year old woman who had her just had her second abortion. If you don’t know how to use birth control by that age there is something seriously wrong with you

This is especially true when you see middle aged women involved with politics. Many of them will lose their shit if anybody disagrees with them (no matter how tactful or polite they were). I can see some zealous college kid acting that way but when a 35 year old man or woman does it it’s beyond pathetic.

I just don’t see these immature grown women getting the same kind of backlash grown men do when it comes to this crap.

A neighbor of mine committed suicide yesterday. The guy was really good, softspoken but his wife was rude. Always wanted more and more from him and was never satisfied, even though both had stable jobs kids.
Suicide rates are highest among married men globally and most of the time women get a free pass, as mental abuse cannot be proved if the person is already dead.
Plus it's taboo in our society for men to speak up against emotional abuse from women which is as common as men physically abusing women. But the latter gets the spotlight.
