When they plays SF4, they are able to enjoy the game more and more submersed in it because they looks like the characters in the game or relatively comparable to the characters. So it's not foreign to them or unobtainable for people to look like that because they themselves are evident that you can look like that. So they feel more closer to the characters and like it's actual them fighting on screen in a way.

Whereas a guy or girl who are skinny fat or overweight won't be able to relate as much because they do not look anything and such bodies are unobtainable to them.

Similarly, when these 2 go to the movie and they see Batman v Superman and Batman has six pack abs or wonder woman with her impressive physique.
They don't feel insecure deep down or wish they could look as good as the actors on the big screen because they do look this good or even better. The fact these bodies are being used for superheroes just boost Jeff/Nabeiva that their body is the right way to look and make them better able to relate to the idea of superheroes and have a stronger connection with the character than some kid who is a twig or obese person who never hit the gym.

This even extends over into tv shows and sport evens such as the Olympics they are better able to enjoy it and not feel a bit guilty that they look like shit compared to the people on the television. And social media even becomes better because when they take a picture it looks good and they can see that in the picture.

Im supposed to be a junior but i failed a grade because of depression, i skipped majority of the year, & when i did go to school i didn't put in any effort

I missed this whole week of school because im still slightly depressed and when she comes home from school this is what she says to me
She barges in my room
And says

"You weren't at school today, what are you going to do with your life? You're going to be a fat nobody" and walks out

And I've been wanting to say this for so long but i hold back..
I wanted to say

She has very few friends and all of her friends are either very ugly or handicapped
(not making fun of handicapped people)

She always calls me dumb
she's a senior and still has a 5th grade reading level.
When i do go to school my teachers all talk about how i shouldn't be a grade behind because im too smart. i just miss to many days
So they can't do anything

all her teachers talk about is how she can't read or spell to save her life

she's so dumb and she doesn't even realise it.
Oh and she says ill be nothing in life

I played on the basketball team for 2 years
I played the violin for 6 1/2 years
And i have people wanting me to join the football team badly

Yet she's not talented at all...
she's literally not good at anything but
watching kids
Doing dirty labor
Eating food
And watching tv...
Thats literally all she does.

The only reason i don't respond because i dont want to hurt her feelings but she hurts mine daily

The 90s was fun but when I look at the constant entertainment on offer to not just kids but everyone now, it wouldn't be fun if you had to go back.
If you grew up in the 90's facebook didn't exist. If you wanted to know what your friends were doing, you literally had to call them on the phone and ask. It likely wouldn't have been a mobile either unless you were rich or it was '99.

Video games in the 90's were not as fun or addictive as they are now. They were actually extremely basic and tedious to play at times as you would often have to start a level over if your character died and they didn't have save features.

The internet was only in its early stages in the 90s. Most people didn't have it until the very late 90s.
Computers had very small memories and didn't have touch screens or cameras.

Television screens were much smaller than what you are used to now and picture quality was poor (see picture with will smith)

Cars were less fuel efficient and didn't have features like reversing cameras, parking sensors or blind spot indicators. If you needed to park, you actually needed spacial awareness.

Nobody had satelite Navigation. If you needed to get somewhere, you actually needed to be able to read a map.

If you were fat in the 90's you were fat. Curvy or plus size were not words for it then.

Forget iPhones, there weren't even iPod's and for most of the 90's no mp3 players. If you wanted to hear music, you needed to turn on the radio or own the CD or cassette tape.

There was no Netflix. Physical video store for you.

So could you have survived it or bear to go back?
