I'm a GA (Graduate Assistant) at a University. I have been offered things (money, drugs, sexual favors, goods, etc) in exchange for direct help with changing or lobbying the professor to otherwise increase their class grade. It's an uncomfortable situation for me to be in and wondered how often this happens? This is open for anonymous responses.

Ethical standards require me to even turn down coffee or anything a student may offer me while tutoring or doing 'Supplemental Instruction' for fear of showing any favouritism.

There is this popular 11/12 year old on periscope with the same last name as a famous singer. She always wants people to add her on Snapchat. She never directly said she was his daughter but man she acts like he’s her dad on Snapchat. The singer is currently working on a movie out of state and this kid posts indirectly (not naming the singer) about how she misses her dad and her brother misses him and how she hates being stuck with her step mom and she doesn’t get to talk to him often because he’s busy and just making up stories how they are fighting on the phone (singer and his wife) and it upsets her, And then... her friends (I’m assuming maybe it’s her) make all these fake hate/bully accounts to attack her own account with and she goes on broadcast crying about how mean people are to her and tries to get sympathy from people. Which people are dumb enough to give it to her. And oh report all the hate accounts. 🙄 She also has rare pictures of the singer and his actual kid that she posts and videos from his concert when he actually gave her attention. (Big mistake on his part) Also how the singer and his dancers follow her on Instagram and liked her posts. She also has 6 of his guitar picks (oh boy). She must stalk him somehow because she knew about juicy gossip and made up stories about it weeks before it was made very public. But I googled the singer and alas he has no daughter and only a son. Could she be related to him? Entirely possible. Could she be a crazy attention seeking fan? Again entirely possible. Who knows. She’s been doing this everyday for the past month and her broadcasts get 300 views within about a minute and she’s not even doing anything just showing her slime collection and talking about bullies/haters or her dad which is all she ever does. When people ask her if she’s the celebrities kid on broadcast she pretends like she didn’t see it.
