My aunt went to college to be a marriage and family counselor 9 years ago. She finished the class portion but never did her internship hours and still hasn't taken her licensing exam. Instead she drives uber to make ends meet which makes zero sense to me. Can anyone make sense of this? When I asked her about working she said," I don't know I'f I want to do it anymore too many evil people in the world I can get killed. Excuses excuses. she's almost 60 and wasted her life and time

So I'm a senior in high school and I am starting to plan out my next steps after highschool. Up to this point in my life I have been focusing on going to college and not the military. Over the pass few months since the beginning of the school my main focus has been college, filling out the FAFSA📝, applying to school's📝, scholarships and so on. I am even in a 7 year college readiness program. But over and even since I was younger I have always wanted to go to the military💪. These thoughts have been penetrating my mind the past few weeks and it's an option I am really leaning towards. The fact I absolutely hate school😒 and I'm sure that I'm not going to be able to pay for it is really pushing me away from the aspect of going to college. And to add to the fact that I have no motivation to go to college besides the fact that I will be the first in my family to go. I don't even have a clue to what kind of college I want to go to or what to study🤦. I am afraid of telling my family and my college counselors that I would want to enlist after all the work we have do. So here's my question should I enlist or go to college?
