till then I couldnt help but to be paranoid and ask any woman who tried to click with me if she already has an S/O. however I always heard that assuming that a woman you are interested is already taken can come off as beta behavior.

Bare with me as it just occurred to me. I know a 60+ yr old guy dating a 30 yr old woman. So, what if he saw her mom when he was 30 before married/pregnant and talked with her... instead of interest in her, he was interested in after she was married, marrying her future female offspring.
