Is it normal to cry over soldiers who died in past wars you never saw?

I always struggle to watch war movies and documentaries but I believe its so important to remember and be educated on everyone who was involved in the war so there sacrifice wasn't in vain and we never repeat history.

I was watching a doc on YouTube about shell shock and the WW1 nurses. Im pregnant so my hormones are extremely sensitive anyways but I poured my fucking eyes out for them men/boys. Some of them were just baby's at 16 and the nurses were speaking of them crying for there mums at night and them having to tell them "look im gonna be your mum tonight " and having told hold them like there mums would just bought something out in me.

Whenever I think of the young men that suffered i think about my husband and if history was ever to repeat its self which could potentially happen.

My husband is a strong man but in my eyes he's my prefect, sweet angle and the idea of going through anything them men had to just kills me inside.

With everything thats happening in the uk and across the world I feel like everyday these young men and women's legacy is being more and more pissed on if im brutally honest and if we were to go to war again what would we actually be fighting for because at the end of the day its never the money grabbing, pedo loving politicians who will have to suffer its the common man.

I already love my baby so much even though its not here yet and I feel the same as I mentioned for my husband. If I was to have a child go to war id be beside myself so I can't imagine what went through them poor soldiers mums heads either whilst that went off.

So many people are effected by war but never the ones who get rich off it and it makes me hate the government so much

I've seen a couple interviews with 100 year old war vets saying the sacrifice wasn't worth it after seeing what the world has become now that must really sting for them after what they had to see and do

I've done that. I think means you have a lot of empathy and ability to put yourself in others shoes. I think it's an amazing thing, to have such an exceptional brain!

Recognize, others may not be like you, they may not have those feelings. Dont' expect them to.

preganant women are more sensitive and as well, may change and be more protective. Utlimately, so much of everything... is hormones. Life, is a very emotional thing!

Some people are just more emotional the others. Is it the normal response no but that doesn't mean it can't be your normal.

It is normal to grieve over the death of any living thing, whether you were familiar with them before their death or not. I have literally grieved over the death of plants. I will do so again, I am sure. Life is life.

Sometimes I feel sad for these brave people. It is natural to cry over them.
