Were i work there's a good mix of ages but as its coming to more of the school hoildays we are getting a lot of temp students coming to work.
Youngest is 16 but here's the thing a lot of the mangers abuse there power at my work. In the uk 16 is legal age for consent but morally its wrong for a 45 year old to be chatting up a little baby 16 year old girl in my eyes.
I can't really report this either as I can't complain on another colleagues behalf and they are technically "adults" plus when I have spoken up in the past I've faced serious backlash and I can't really afford to lose my job or quit atm as im pregnant and need the benefits they offer as they are really good whilst raising a family thats one thing I will say.
Im 28 and I've always had a very maternal nature to me and can be very protective when I need to be.
I've kind of come to way of using jokes and banter to get the managers to back of these young girls.
I always tell the girls dont be scared to come to me if anyone of those men say anything inappropriate to you or do anything to make you uncomfortable. I've seen it with my own eyes before and its disgusting theyll tell them they can help them get promoted and everything and will try to groom them when they have a wife and kids at home.
I remember one of the girls saying "is it okay if I just nip to the bathroom for a second?" And a manger saying "only if im invited too" my response was "pretty sure its illegal to look at little boys willy's "
Then another time one of the mangers was giving one of the girls a hard time and really bossing her around. I said "wow what did your last slave die of" his response "you dont buy a dog and bark yourself " my response back to him was "you dont buy a pig and expect a little sausage".
I just trying to hulimate these men instead of going to HR as they do not trust HR at all as they are even worst but I know they can't report what I say I response or theyll have to own up to what they said first

If being a karen is sticking up for 16 year old girls being spoken to inappropriately by 40 something year old men who have wife and kids at home yeah im a karen but better then defending borderline pedophiles

Im actually married, with a child on the way and have a healthy social life that doesn't involve talking to children.
So let's get this clear you dont see the issue with grown adult men talking inappropriately to 16 year old girls? You only see the issue with the women trying to stop it?
