In my personal experience, I've been more successful when the girl has pursued me. Now, I've always asked the girl out in the end, but I give her time to show interest and basically give me the green light. When I don't care or give girls attention, they come to me.

I want to pursue women and others encourage me to, but I always fail. Waiting for the girl takes more time, sometimes a week and other times up to 2 months.

My friends often joke that girls don't know what they want, but when they do they're loyal and committed to making things work. Yeah things ended because our careers were taking us different places, but it was a success because we spent quality time together. I don't even make it to the first date with girls I pursue. Well, I did one time, but that girl said I was husband material and not boyfriend material so she wanted someone else. Smh Her loss.

When pursuing women in person, 99.9% of the time they'd already know I liked them so they'd call me a "nice guy" and shoo me away. Online, usually via Tinder and Instagram DM, I used to say hey or what's up and wait for a response. That did nothing 50% of the time. Then I'd evolved say something witty like "I'm going to Whole Foods. Want anything?" or ask them something about their interests in profile or bio. These type of messages got replies about 75% of the time, but the conversations normally dry up within a month. I'm pretty much set on waiting on girls, but if you have any tips on how I could improve my chances when being the pursuer, I'd appreciate them.
