for a while there, it was the biggest story in America. you couldn’t pick up a newspaper — or turn on your TV — without hearing about how Joe Biden is old. so old! ancient! how did this happen? how can someone be this old? how is he even still alive? so ollllld!!!

the press hounded Joe until he finally dropped out of the race. but here’s the thing: Joe Biden could have avoided all this controversy just by being A Very Special Boy, like Don is — because if you point out to any of the worthless scribblers of the corporate-controlled media that Donny is old, too, you’re going to get an earful of well of course he is. so what? cut the guy some slack.

yesterday, the Daily Beast attempted to answer the question why is Donny holding so few hate-rallies? in the piece, we get none of the oh my god, how can anyone this old lead a country hyperventilation that we got during any of the Joe must go hysteria. all we get is a dry and uncritical recitation of here’s what a Trump Campaign spokesman told us — but the Beast did manage to end the piece with a gratuitous smack in the face to Harris and Walz.

in 2000, when Kamala was San Francisco’s assistant district attorney, Kimberly Gargoyle — of all people! — was looking for a job in the DA’s office and Kamala told her to fuck straight off. twenty four years later, the Times desperately wants this to be a scandal, and so they’ve dutifully typed up Gargoyle’s version of the story

Washington Post pushed a piece about Kanala failing as space czar. “space czar?” how in the name of Buck Rogers is this an actual campaign issue? the author of the piece, by the way, is a Trump Administration toady. so yeah, fair and balanced.

It just occurred to me randomly sitting at the desk tonight and just thinking to myself, and I'm an Aussie so American politics doesn't affect me /I don't vote in American elections duh - do you think and respectful answers only please - do you think the President will randomly resign the office so that VP Kamala Harris becomes President effectively immediately? Then again I don't know much about American politics procedures, lol, only Ford became President because Nixon resigned? Or was that Congress picking Ford? Lol so confused me ah well. A light hearted foreign politics question. I'm not an American.

Yes some of these options are jokes or semi jokes but I'm still interested to see how people answer this question.

I just wanted to cut to the heart of this 'childless cat lady' meme and ask what its really saying.

So lets say there's a woman, she's possibly single but she's not married and may or may not have cats or pets of any sort. She has no kids. She might even proclaim she doesn't even want any children and also could get married but simply chooses not to.

Upon hearing this do YOU the listener or reader assume there is just something wrong with them?
