What am I doing wrong on dating apps?

So I'm a 21 year old girl who has been single for a while. And I've proceeded to get myself into 4 different dating apps. Now the problem isn't to find matches, but the problem is the conversations. Right after I have a match I get messages like "hey" "how are you?" "What are you doing?" Which is cool you know. But after those questions they get right to the point. "How big is your butt? Can I see it?" "Where do you live? Should I sleep over? 😏" and I don't really know how to answer that. I mean, ofc I know there's going to be men on the app that just wanna meet up and...🙄... and be gone right after, but that's not what I'm looking for. Is it that I'm doing something wrong? Because each time I try to just text back "oh well, how about we get to know each other first?😇" they just never answer😐 or when they ask if I'm a virgin and I answer "yes" they ghost me. It hasn't happened once or twice... but EVERY time. So the question is, should I even continue on dating apps? Am I doing something wrong? 🙃

I suppose the dating apps trending in your age range are mostly about casual sex. So, conversation might be optional lol. Now there is a "mostly" to read here. Dating online involves some level of strategical thinking, else you are matching with random folks.

Just like in person, you need to select people, else it's just random gambling with odds. And odds will be against you, when you don't fit the trend you live in.

When people are face to face, they see the physical person and make decisions. Dating apps are not the best subsitiute. Guys are trolling for sex. Not everyone is genuine. You discovered that using the apps is not simple, you need to do a lot of work. If you understand the drawbacks, you can get through. Good Luck.

Because of perverts and prostitutes, dating apps have turned into shit... there are almost no normal guys and girls. Honestly, I don't have a boyfriend myself and I don't know what to advise you, I have the same dilemma

So, what should I do? I'm an introvert and very shy, i even avoid eye contact with people I don't know.

Do you work or go to college? Those are the standard ways to meet people.

I work from home, so I don't really meet people that much unless it's my few friends at the weekend. And i only go out for maybe a walk or a run, so I don't meet new people.

Hm. That is a conundrum. You need some reason to be around people. Maybe think of any socially demanding hobbies that might interest you. Volunteering, for example..

Why would you even answer someone who posts something like that? If a woman sends me a message "hi handsome" I'm done talking to her right there. Come at me correct or don't come at me.
