I'm kinda talking to this dude. He's 8 years older than me, which I know is a lot. I didn't even actually expect him to ever talk to me, but we do have a mutual friend. And according to my mutual friend (who is also a guy) this guy is absolutely flirting with me. This guy even asked me to the movies with him, though we haven't actually gone out yet or anything. We have a lot of ideas to hang out but ever really follow through. I think we're both kinda nervous. But we message a lot, text each other all day and then all night. Last night we stayed up until 1 am texting.

But last night he asked me how my valentines day was, and I said it was of course just like any other day. And then we talked a bit and he pointed out that guys are easy, because most of them just want sex on Valentines day. And I said that a heck of a lot of girls are the same way. We've mentioned sex in passing to each other before, but never really throw details out there. Though I know he's had to have had sex with several other girls (before he even knew I existed from the way he puts it), but I've never even KISSED a guy before. So this whole dating game is completely new to me. He's said to me though that sex is apart of a relationship, so I mean it's clearly important to him.

Should I tell him I've never had sex before? How do I even bring that up if I do? It makes me feel so young, and I don't wanna frighten him away.

I understand you may be tempted to say "neither" or "both", but for the sake of argument, just pick one, if you HAD to choose.

I'm agnostic. But if God exists, & we had to limit to one gender, I'd say God was female.

Even in Christianity. There's reason to believe that IF Jesus was really born by a virgin birth - parthenogenesis, which is a thing in the animal kingdom - Jesus would've been female, since the Y-chromosome - which creates maleness - is passed by the sperm, which would have not been present in the impregnation of Mary. Jesus would have feigned maleness due to the possibility of not being taken seriously otherwise.

Also, Julian of Norwich, who is recognized as a saint in Catholicism, argued that God is both Mother and Father.

She also argued that rather than being a punishment upon women, as claimed by many patriarchal aspects of religion, the pain/blood of menstruation & childbirth were mini-crucifixions intended to bring women closer to God/Christ. Just like Christ bled to bring spiritual life to humanity, women bleed to bring physical life to humanity.

Thus, menstruation being a cyclical reminder of women's connection to God and Christ as well as the cycles of nature. Indeed, the content of menses is the endometrium, which is the place in which the zygote first implants - all humans' first homes.

Monthly, women are exposed to the Source of Life, & reminded of their sacred status as the Vessels of Life. What could be closer to God than that?
