Background, this lady is from the countryside and I'm from the capital. We text each other 3 full paragraphs a day on instagram for 2 weeks. She is planning to come over the capital for few days (200km away) for a birthday by next week. For you personally, is the texting habits way too much and exhausting or you don't mind before meeting on a first date. There is a lot questions and odd flirting in there. Usually I go for local and text to set up dates only but our energy is great so far anyway haha

For longer than I remember, I had this memory of once meeting a woman on a chat site, not unlike this one.
We chatted and we flirted for three evenings straight, only for her to abruptly disappear and never return ever again, prompting me to also move on with my life soon thereafter.

I don't remember any specifics other than the fact that we had great chemistry and that this "memory" dates back somewhere to my very early twenties.
It would be a very typical encounter for me, if it indeed happened around that time in my life so I never really questioned the validity of this "memory".

But the blurriness bugged me, and the more I tried to remember, the more I realized that I have absolutely no recollection of information such as:
What site was this? Why I was on there in the first place? Was I drunk for much of it?
Was it maybe a fresh find that I have simply abandoned because of that experience, and that is why the rest of my recollection is so scarce?

Over time I started to think that this experience of mine didn't even happen for real.
That, perhaps, at one point I simply had a very vivid but also quite a mundane dream that I eventually started interpreting as a memory of a real event that took place.

Do you have any "fake" memories of your own?
Something you swear you remember but when you mention it to your friends they all go like "you high or something? that certainly did NOT happen!"?
