I've met a guy on the website a month ago. we were talking daily and everything was fine. I'm about to move closer to his city for studies btw! the last time we talked on the phone was 10 days ago and we had fun. on the next day he didn't message. and the next day too. so i asked if he hated me and if i should leave and he said "stop being emo, it does not work on me", i said"gl" and he send emojii "frowning upon"
in 4 days i sent"i miss you" and he said"whats upp" and"too much work, busy"
i tried to stimulate the conversation asking about studies (i'm about to study at the university he attended) and he answers only once a day
!! his "last seen"on whatsapp tells me he does not use it with other people because the time he was online matches with the last message he sent to me.. he used to use it more often, being online almost always. he also does not use the website where we met anymore. does not have fb, instagram etc
do you think he is really busy or just stopped liking me?

So, this guy has a girlfriend. I know this through friends, but he has never once mentioned her to me. As a matter of fact, the once time he posted a pic of both of them on FB, 2 minutes later it was gone from my feed, as if he didn't want me to know about the girlfriend. He has texted me at 11 pm, he initiates hugs and arm caresses, he writes me in French. I am his only client featured on his website. The pics with his girlfriend look more like brother and sister... no passion. He texts me in cute emojis. Says I am the most fun client he has ever worked with. Thoughts? I'm really interested in your honest opinion.

It's probably about time. Don't misunderstand me, I don't give two shits whether you like me or not, think I'm a bitch, a troll, a catfish, or a crazy person.

I came here (a LONG time ago) with a serious question that was important to me at the time. I didn't know how the site worked... if I had, I would have picked a cool user name. I've ended up sticking around for almost 4 years and the fun's gone.

At first, I wrote a few (what I thought were) thought provoking questions and MyTakes, only to quickly ascertain that the sheer volume of fucktards and trolls take the enjoyment out of taking this place seriously. So, I moved on to helping moderate the community and trying to bring new users along to have at least an entertaining place to kill time.

Here's one that (pathetically) shows that most people don't even have a firm grip on their own first language, confusing the word "vocabulary" with the word "dictionary".

I mostly blame the phone app for eroding the overall experience that we had here when it was just a website. The only reason I haven't already left, is that I've seen so many users cancel their accounts, only to regret it and come back sooner than later.
