I viewed an apartment 10 days ago on Monday March 4. She said she was showing the apartment to one more person on Wednesday Mar 6. And then they’ll make a decision on who they want to move in.

I texted her on Friday Mar 8 to see if there was any update. She said she had more showings and the last one was the next day, Mar 9. (her adding more viewings is already a bad sign to me that im not who they’re looking for anyways..)

It is now Mar 14 and I still have no update. Should I text her and ask again? Or maybe call this time?

I don’t wanna be obnoxious but a lot of these landlords love ghosting and not getting back to you… I just had a really good feeling about this place at first so that’s why I’m a bit more persistent on getting a response with this one.

A bit of context, reconnected with this girl I met 4 years ago. Things wouldn’t had worked out back then bc of timing. Fast forward now, we reconnected on Hinge texted for a few days, had good consistent conversations, she said she’s been looking for a long term relationship for a while, asked her on a date to go bowling, she agreed, then after asking her on it her texting went down to only once or twice a day which would mostly be in the morning

On Wednesday, I gave her the time, day, and place which was suppose to be on Sunday. She didn’t respond so I sent a question mark on Thursday…no response. Then I sent one more text on Friday…no response.

On Saturday, she sent me the first text above. I responded with the same time, day, and place. Then on Sunday, the day of the date, she flaked and said something popped up and we’ll have to reschedule.

She’s in college and is going on spring break this whole week.

We have been dating for a little over 6 months, there has never been a day where she didn't contact me, sometime She has been a little flaky as far as the response time, but we both work busy jobs so that's all good. Recently she went four days without contacting me at all, I live in a flake capital in the United States of America, where girls are extremely flaky and ghost regularly. So I figured she was just being non-dramatic and ghosting me, no big deal, it happens. So I called one of my regulars from before we for serious and I slept w her.

Then of course my girl inevitably calls me, and says she was busy because her sister was visiting. So was this cheating? Should she have texted me at least hello while her sister was here? I'm open to judgment. Let it rip.
