The fertility rate of a country or region is defined as the number of children an average woman has during her lifetime.

A fertility rate of around 2 is needed to maintain a stable population, essentially that replaces the mother and father; when they die, their children replce them. A rate more than 2 generally increases the population, and a rate less than 2 causes the population to decline.

The average global fertility rate is now about 2.3. Modern countries (shown in blue in the map) have fertility rates less than 2, which means their native populations will decline over time; immigration is needed to maintain (or increase) population. Third World countries (shown in brown in the map, especially Africa) have rates above 2, and their native populations are increasing.

Prior to the 1950s, almost every country had fertility rates well above 2. Since then, fertility rates have dropped rapidly in many countries. Many demographers postulate that the entry of women into the workforce (which started during WW II), and the rise of feminism, is a key factor in the decline in fertility rates. More women than ever in human history now have careers, which makes it difficult to have children. A career woman may decide to have no children, or maybe only one child, since it's so hard to balance raising a child with a career. Cost of living is also high, making it difficult for a couple to survive on just one income.

I strongly believe Caucasian (white), straight, Christian (and now also Jewish) males are hurt the most. Really think of the sociopolitical movements that have swept the US in the recent decade or so.

Gaza Riots... emphasis and support for Islam and its regimes with antisemitism

Race initiatives to promote those of "color":... races and ethnicities other than white.

Christians largely support Isreal. The Christian faith prohibits LGBTQRSTUVblah causes. Christians have been subject to threats of violence, government surveillance, and the cancel culture.

The two-teared justice system penalizes conservative activists more harshly than leftist rioters.

They are about to remove "Boy" from Boy Scouts. Woke ideologies are now ruining an institution over 100 years old.

I am a white, straight, Christian male. The only "protected class" I may belong in is disability. Although, I don't see any hot-topic movements to address mental health and disabilities. In fact, I face more hardship, no matter what political ideology the companies I work for have.

The above is a discussion on a feminist subreddit and the sheer shamelessness and hypocrisy of the modern 'feminist has appalled me to the core. These women give such lame excuses like "women are programmed to choose the best for themselves" and "a woman deserves someone who can give her a good life" to justify their materialistic greed.
I mean, seriously? Feminism is about equality and enfranchisement of women so why are we upholding the patriarchal notion that it is the man's responsibility to 'provide for the woman? Why are we encouraging and even celebrating a woman's financial dependence on a man?
If a woman wants a good life, she has to earn it for herself. Nobody owes her anything in life and if she wants something, she must work for it rather than robbing resources that she does not deserve.”
