I have recently come to a realization that being with 1 person for the rest of my life and raising kids with him, regardless of how great we were together would not be my thing. I started looking into a group marriage and found a lot of benefits, from financial to sexual and of course sharing kids with more than one partner may very well be much more beneficial, less risky for kids than a nuclear family.


So let's say you have a moderate income. Combining expenses, housing, daycare and vacations could raise everyone's standard of living. Not to mention free up time to do personal things while others take the load off chores. And kids would have a lot more attention, role models and playmates, even in case of a breakup.


And a family or a group of close friends, who don't have a sexual relationship but agree to commit into this kind of group living, would have access to luxuries whereas two parent household may not be able to afford that.



And last but not least, SEXUAL DIVERSITY. I'm naturally not a polygamous person. I like to bond and value romantic relationships, but let's face it.. After awhile one person, even the most loved one can get on your nerves and that's where a lot of people go seek fulfillment outside the marriage. Well I don't know if 2-3 extra partners would solve that entirely, but for me, it probably would make it harder to have time or emotional capacity seeking something else outside our group... I'd imagine it's much easier to get everything you need from more than one person, than putting all that pressure on just one partner...

So my question to both genders - what are your thoughts? Has this ever entered your mind? Have you tried or currently are in a group relationship? And I'm not talking about swinging (although no judgement if that's your preference), I mean a commitment to more than one person.

I live in a predominantly poor black community. I am aware that many black people make up the prison population however I am having a hard time understanding is there incarceration a reflection of their character or a result of American racism?

People say all the time black men are more likely to go to prison because they grow up in a poor environment and a single family household. I know that there are a lot of dirty and racist cops. I know there a lot of dirty and racist judges who punish black people excessively. however is this the case for why all black people are in prison. my brother is a black male, he grew up in a single parent household, my brothers father was physically abusive to my mother (before I was born) my brothers father is a black male in prison. However my brother is currently attending a four year university. HE is 22 and never been arrested or in the back of a pilice car. But somewhere on the other side of the world a young black man has gone through the same thing but is in prison. How come my brother is not in prison but other black men with the same stories are? My brother and I have the same Mom and she is great. Does parenting have a role in this? Is it a reflection of Character And Morality. Or a Result of the white man's racist ways.

A women who is ambitious, educated and earns (because bills dont pay themselves) but wants to have a traditional role in house, of serving like women did in old times.
