One of my friends’ bro started snapping me which I found it weird cuz we rarely talked. It started as a friendly talk until we had a deep convo about the things we’ve done in the past. Then he told me how sry he is and comforting me. After that, he started telling me how he was emotionally attracted to me. I was overwhelmed so I also said the same thing out of the blue. He said he was just scared to talk to me. He kept asking what I want so I said that I want us to stay friends for now which he felt disappointed. Then he said we can stay as friends but we can send each other’s pics to get closer. I didn’t do it. That’s when I started having doubts about him but he said he really has feelings for me. That he wants me.

Few days passed and we were just talking. But at the same time he gets horny. One day, he just stopped talking to me after he went out with my bro and our friends but he was still talking to me earlier. I asked him if he’s ok and he said kinda. He wouldn’t tell me what happened. So I didn’t push him further.

The next day, we saw each other with our friends. I was next to him and put my head on his shoulder to see if he’d be ok w it. He didn’t move and even moved closer to me. Our friends noticed even our siblings lol.

I told one of my friends about it. She said he was lying the whole time cuz he also did the same thing to her but casually. She also said that he doesn’t catch feelings. He did it to other girls but with different approaches. With us it’s different cuz we go to the same church and r close to each other’s family. Ofc I was hurt. But I always knew that something was up.

I had to tell someone so he wouldn’t do it to anyone especially to our friends. Our parents found out but they weren’t mad. My mum said that he’s a bit confused and immature cuz he’s young. And there may be a chance that he’s not lying to me about his feelings. But I don't know. Well we still have to see each other. But everything’s fine for now.

I want a boyfriend. I’m a freshman in college, living at home with my parents. I’m impatient. I don’t know if I can wait 8+ months (next Fall) before I go back on campus to meet guys.

I tried dating apps in the past and I would say my experience is so-so, overall. Met some creeps, met an asshole, and a few nice guys. Nothing worked out in the end. I’m 19 and don’t know how to flirt in public. With COVID restrictions still in place, I don’t know how my luck of finding a guy in-person is going to happen anytime soon. Thoughts?
