We are both 27. I asked him to work it out and he never responded.
We met last February and immediately started living together. It just happened because he was couch surfing at friends' houses so I offered for him to stay with me. We argued a a little at first. There was an incident where he was drunk and called me a bitch in front of my friends. I forgave him instantly and it never happened again. But I think that opened the door to all the arguing that would follow. Over the months, when we would argue, I would put him out and he would have to call friends to pick him up because he had neither his own place or car. I thought I was justified because it was my place and he did not help with rent. He resents me to this day for the times I would put him out. He actually did not help with rent until July. He then moved out at the end of July because he found a job in another state close to his parents house, so he moved in with them. We argued some over the next month. Then my uncle passed away and I became a little depressed. I took my anger out on him and argued with him and for that reason he was not there for me and was not a shoulder to cry on. I resented him for this. I even told him that my ex was there to comfort me (via text message) and that further angered him and made him not want to be there for me. He visited me in December but this is when I found out he was talking to someone else. I forgave him later but I guess I resented him for it because we kept arguing. The arguments got mean. He became "busy" and took hours (sometimes 12) to text back. I got angry and told him I was going to find someone who knows how to treat me. He did not seem to care. A couple of days later, I missed him and apologized and told him I promise to stop arguing because I did not want to lose him. He never responded.
I thought he loved me and would do anything for me and that we were stronger than this. Will he be back? Should I want him back? Should he want me back?
