Freedom of speech non-existent

Apparantly to me the speech in this country is not free, but the government has just added a 'pseudo-right' to make the people happy...So what does freedom of speech indicate ? Nothing !! Absolutely nothing!

Turns out government has a big list of things stating all the things we are supposed to not say.
I am having a hard time wondering, if you tell us what things we should say and what things we should not say, where does the freedom part kick in ? You don't need freedom of speech to say "Hey nice weather, how you doing ?" I could have said that in Hitler's reign. Infact, you need freedom of speech the most for the topics what the government has included in the 'you cannot say this' list.

The worst part of it is, We are okay with this. We as citizens don't care. That's why we don't stand up to these double standards. Strictly in this context, i believe communism/monarch is better than democracy.
Somehow, "Hey you have no freedom of speech so shut the fuck up or else" sounds less douchebaggery than "Hey you have freedom of speech but still please shut up or else"

Also, I would like to include a quote by George Carlin, for 2 reasons, one, I think he's a good comedian, and 2, it's applicable, and yet contradictory.

But, If one books a hall, gather a couple hundred of locals and say the same thing.. I doubt the government wouldn't try to do anything about it.
