Backfire: Russia's Response to Syria Missile Strike!

After 59 missiles had been launched, it's been said Russia is NOT happy about this act of aggression.

Syria and Russia are allies in the conflict over in the middle-east, riddled by poverty, communism, failing economy and mostly war. President Bashar al-Assad has been using poison gas on his own citizens over political issues, which the U.S, especially Trump, did not take much of a liking to. Trump's reaction: 59 tomahawk missiles fired and struck the small region of Syria, flattening the land.

Out of the wreckage and desolation, are survivors, innocent citizens, bodies infected with radiation and sickness. They've got nowhere to go and no way to get anywhere. Drink all the water they can get, eat what ever they can, those survivors are merely delaying the inevitable. Families are crippled, children starving, their last moments quickly approaching.

Through all of this, Russia is NOT happy.

Russia warns Trump of possible serious consequences, a risk for war over attempts to improve relations with them. Trump is "prepared to do more," and what if he does? How will Russia take to this? Trump's plan is to throw out al-Assad, but that's easier said than done. If he does, we may find ourselves being involved in yet another war.

We may have the strongest army in the world, but Russia, who again, is allies with Syria, have the most nukes in the world. Who's to say they won't become trigger happy as well? With the way Trump's going, Kim Jong-in won't have to worry about making a missile to reach us.

There's a volcano in California, a thousand years and more, over-due for eruption. A single nuke there, well, there goes the town!

So, out of all of this, what do you guys think? Will Trump continue his assaults on Syria? If he does, will it start another war?

I think he should continue. Finally we have a president that isn't twiddling his thumbs and playing golf while children are being killed by their own leader. I say, kill all the bad guys whatever means necessary (including war). Liberals shout "world peace" but don't realize you need to root out the cancer instead of letting it spread. Russia needs to realize that. I know they are upset right now because of their little aliance but come on man. he's killing his own now too. This needs to stop and I'm glad Trump is a reactive president!

i doubt it will start another war. russia isn't going to go so far just for the sake of their allegiances with Syria. they can't view syria as so important to engage in what would be a massive bloody war with the US and it's allies

If it happens, then it happens. It's beyond either your control as well as mines. We are all going to die eventually some day anyway. Live now and enjoy whatever time it may be left that you have to enjoy your life, if you aren't somebody living in or born in those war zones or some other place in the world suffering from poverty or diseases, then you're already much luckier and fortunate than those that are.

I honestly would not expect a real nuclear war or a third world war without another Great Depression or Economic Collapse first, because history repeats itself, let's put it that way:

In October 1907, there was a financial crisis, then sometime in 1914 World War one broke out. Next, fast forward, 1929 The Great Depression, then sometime later in 1939 World War 2 happened, like it just had to freakin' happen, like as if there just had to be some "sequel" to first world war, there had been many unresolved issues in World War 1 that made World War 2 possible in case you were unaware. So who knows, maybe the stage is slowly being set, before World War 3 begins the show, BUT, NOT until this pattern is repeated and completed first. Although there had been a "Cold War" that followed World War 2, but that changed how war is waged completely forever.

Even if a nuclear war or "world war 3" doesn't occur, there's plenty of possibilities and reasons that we're all going to die, such as there's Severe climate change, there's the possibility of a supervolcano, maybe massive meteor, or even some sort of horrible deadly pandemic plague, contagion, or "pestilence" that cannot be vaccinated and cured , spreading rapidly, there was such an incident in the past called the "Black Death", and because all shit that can happen all of a sudden beyond everyone's control, unexpectedly, sometimes things are slowly builded-up to it. People die every day, randomly unexpectedly in accidents or simply just being unlucky being at the wrong place at the wrong time. So just relax, death is inevitable. Wars are also inevitable, because it's just the humans had always been throughout history. You're facing this kind of a world and reality now whether you like it or not, you had no say in it just like the rest of everybody else that is born and exist, and I know for certain that absolutely nobody had ever asked to be born and come into existence to this kind of a world and reality.

So honestly, and bluntly, don't even worry about it any more.

2) The US then disbands the Iraqi Army. Turning thousands of soldiers who are normal people just like you a patriotic "veteran" jobless, purposeless and angry and very ready for INSURJANCE. And I know what you are going to say here: these people were free to start a future but they cannot envision a future of freedom or democracy they are savages by nature. BULLSHIT.
3) the destruction of any political sphere that could develop a real resistance. The political sphere was used by the coalition forces in ways that rendered it absolutely dysfunctional, in addition to the above mentioned military repercussions, so many people were left with nothing to take side in this chaos.

@lkghdfghkjl May I remind you that Egypt is apart of those 1990 sanctions in Iraq as a founding member of the UN. How about the current Palestinian problem that Egypt was apart of creating or all the years of the ethnic cleansing of the native Egyptian people's. Al Queda sprang out of radical Islamic groups in Saudi Arabia that were predominately trained and armed by the Saudi government to prevent an anti Muslim communist country neighbouring them. US involvement in Afghanistan was really just evening the odds for Anti-communist factions, Egypt supported Russia in Afghanistan. Truthfully if we had let Sadam just take over Kuwait instead of rushing in at the pleas of neighboring Islamic countries 911 would never have happened, Saddam would be leader of the richest country in the middle East and would have the most powerful military capable of defeating all his neighboring rivals.
We freed Iraq but radicals in neighboring countries could handle a democratically elected government.

Syria's been nice and quiet since the missile strike. Maybe the US should have done something earlier. Use chemical weapons against civilians and this is what you get.

Of course Russia is bitching about it but they're not going to do anything about it. No one is going to nuke the planet because of Syria.

Mutual Assured Destruction it deters both superpowers from being reckless like that. It would only make things worse for the world than it currently is as well as worse for the leaders of superpowers. Logically, I expect that it could and would ONLY happen after something like another Great Depression first and then it might become a point of no return. Right now, we're not that close to an economic collapse yet. But this is definitely another Cold War that is going on in the present.

Even "if" it were to happen, it's beyond any of our control anyways. People die all the time, there already had been two world wars previously, they were unavoidable. Even if people don't die in war, people still die eventually no matter what anyways for many other various reasons.

Thus, it proves how there's very little control we have in this kind of a world. I think it's better to not focus and worry anymore, tragic shit happens on a regular daily basis worldwide.

@JudgmentDay We have no control of what USA does. India has opposed unilateral action over a sovereign nation. Other nations have preferred to remain quite. The best option would have been to take the matter to United Nations , and decision what to do should have been decided there.
