Rep. Elijah Cummings Dead At 68

Cummings died at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Baltimore at approximately 2:30 a.m. Thursday “due to complications concerning longstanding health challenges,” his office confirmed in a statement to HuffPost. He did not return to work following an unidentified medical procedure in September.

This man was a Civil Rights icon. He was born into a family of sharecroppers as the article stated.

This man endured actions like this. To bring equality, and a level playing field, for blacks and others.

As this man struggled to rectify things and bring order to our beloved, and tainted land, he was attacked. Not physically, but verbally, and shunned by someone who was..and is..in the wrong

And while this man, has his residence violated, nothing good came out again...

So from the moment of this man's youth, to the man's passing. Elijah Cummings fought for what was right and just.

And what saddens me more, the leader of his flock, among others, spew nothing but racist remarks about people of color still.

In closing, my question to you is this. Do you have the education, the experience, the brain power, the knowledge to be an elected leader, and money may buy you the election... If you can't, dont seek the help of your spiritual guide, because what you learned at the dinner table, and with your circle of friends, won't help you. They say a tiger can't change its stripes, and so the hate you carry for others because they dont look like you, talk like you, or worship either person you worship, whether it be a church, or the present occupant of the white house.
