"Real Life Heroes" Are The True Stars!

Real Life Heroes

People make such a big deal about famous people. Actors/Actresses, Singers, Athletes. Being talented is fine.

The real heroes

But to me the true "Stars" are the people that risk their lives every day to help and protect others with little to no recognition as well as way less pay. These are the people that truly deserve adulation to me.

RedCross workers

RedCross Volunteers:

RedCross volunteers freely volunteer their time to help people and areas hit by and suffering from disasters.

Unpaid volunteers

These selfless people put their own lives aside to help, sometimes traveling to other states and countries. They don't do it for Fame or fortune, they do it out of the goodness of their hearts to help those in need.

Firemen

Firefighters:

These brave men and women risk their lives to save people from harm.

And many have died saving the lives of others. Or suffered permanent damage to their health.

Smoke eaters

Yet we still have many brave people willing to do this job knowing the dangers and risks because that's how much they care about doing what they can to save others.

Men and women in blue

Police officers are too often given such a bad reputation these days instead of being recognized as the true heroes they are just because of some bad cops. But all police officers are not bad just like all people are not bad.

In the line of duty

These are the people that will try to find the person that killed your family member. Will be the people rushing to the school shootings. That risk their life every time they put their uniform on and go out on duty.

Medical staff

Health Care Workers:

Doctor's and nurses and other medical staff that work daily to keep people healthy.

Saving lives

Doctors and nurses work long shifts, performing life saving surgeries and doing what they can to keep their patients alive and cure their illness.

Some doctors and nurses also volunteer their services in other countries or when a disaster strikes.

True life heroes

Amy, Military,Navy, National Guard:

These are the heroic people that risk their lives to keep our country safe and a free country. So many men and women have risked and lost their lives to protect ours. Or came home with severe disabilities including ptsd.

National Guard at work

They are also called to serve in times of National crisis and Natural Disasters. Sacrificing time with their families to save ours.

These are the people that deserve praise

These are the true Stars, the true people that deserve our praise, appreciation and thanks to. Everyday anyways, but especially with the epidemic thie world is currently facing because these will be the people called in to action making the difference.

My uncle is a fireman and earns such a low wage but risks his life constantly to help others! Amazing!
Real life heroes are around us all the time but we don’t see it! It could be as simple as letting the old lady in front of you at the checkout! Or helping her to her car!
Celebrities are simply people we believe are what we want! They are not heroes.

However there are a few singers and actors who have helped people indirectly

The biggest one for me personally is Chester Bennington the lead linkin park singer whose songs have helped many people find strength in their lives to fight depression

Unfortunately he couldn't save himself and took his own life

Satan got a sick sense of humour doesn't he

A man who saved millions of lives through his songs couldn't save himself

Honestly feel the genuinely good people get the short end of the stick in society

They are often taken advantage of , sometimes ridiculed or not given enough credit

That's why I'm more into anti heroes

True Stars in my life:
1. My dad & brothers = Soldiers who fought for our country & saved people from the ravages of wars *
2. My mom = Teacher who stood up with her students against bullying then went back to school to become a heroic ER Nurse *
3. My husband = Coast Guard Reserve turned MMA Instructor who tirelessly helped me search & rescue calamity victims (people & animals) in typhoon-battered Southeast Asia *

Still makes real life heroes. When the fire department was here for my husband the one time, she asked one of the older firemen for his autograph. That man was so touched. He told me in 25 yesterday if being a fireman noone had ever asked him that. But my daughter saw realized that firemen are heroes saving lives every day including her dad's
