How much of a turnoff is Star Wars to girls?

Like alwasy it depends on the girl if she loves Star Wars then I don't think there is a limit but if she's like me and barely knows what its about or what order they go in you might wanna keep it to a minimum so you don't bore her to much see how she reacts to what your talking about if she gives input and seems interested then its ok to talk about a good bit

I have loved Star Wars since I can remember, rock the tees and played the games. I don't like Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Warcraft too much but I like Stargate, Transformers, Marvel comic books most sci fi and video games. I actually find it a turn off when guys are not into videogames and Sci Fi. Or even more of a turnoff when they say they do but don't know anything about it or suck when we play games!

anything really, that someone isn't interested in or knows much about, is going to be turned off, unless other hobies/interests in common can override that and make up for it...

fact: we are attracted to those that have common interests as us...

your best bet is to find a girl who likes star wars too...

OK, I know I'm a guy, but I'm answering on behalf of quite a few of my female friends.

For some girls, it's a turn-off. Some girls don't care either way. And some of them are themselves hardcore sci-fi dorks. In fact, I learned about most of my favorite sci-fi stuff from girls, now that I think about it. I'm an actual scientist, so that's really f***ing saying something, too.

I saw Star Trek out of curiousity and it was pretty freaking cool. If a guy is into sci-fi it's not necessarily a turn off unless you collect Star Wars action figures, go to those themed conventions (like angel said), and I think you get my point.

They're pretty big turn-offs for a lot of girls. I'm not the biggest fan of anything like that either, but there are loads of girls that are interested in things like that. I recommend not even bothering to waste your time with girls that aren't.

I watched Star Wars, though I think only one movie but it was cool and weird and I liked it.

mmm not a deal breaker or anything; I personally haven't even watched any of the movies entirely but from what I saw they looked like fun lol. once he's not absolutely obsessive over it, then it shouldn't bother me.

Personally, I *love* Star Wars. Star Trek. Firefly, all of it, oh my goodness.

Though, with girls, I'm pretty sure sci-fi stuff is pretty much a total hit or a miss.

Star Wars isn't even remotely a turn-off in my eyes since I like sci-fi, too. It only crosses into weird territory if the guy is living in some fantasy world.

Star Wars is AWESOME. I love movies like Star Wars, Serenity, the new Star Trek. I even like playing War Craft, so I'd say that stuff is a plus for me, it's all super fun =D

I LOVE STAR WARS! I'm not really much of a geek though... not a trekkie, not into gaming, or anything like that. But as others have already stated, there are certainly girls out there that have those interests. And there are even those that would be willing to learn about your hobbies or listen to you talk about them, if they're interested in YOU. I wouldn't say it's a turn-off at all... it's just about finding someone compatible with you. =]
