Why do guys brag about how many girls have liked them?

So my friend whom I liked for awhile, who I thought was different from all the other guys I liked since he was my friend first. But today I just heard that he was bragging to one of my girl buddies that "Oh so many girls have liked me, Jayne, Bianca and Kyla" my friend Shari told me he told her this and I couldn't help but feel offended. Now I did get over him, but I still thought he was cute... but ever since he said that... It's been a total turn off.

Why are guys like that? I thought he wasn't the kind to brag about that kind of thing. I think I don't know him anymore. and his niceness feels fake now. I might just be too angry. But what should I do about this? I hate him for that.

Your kinda right for how you feel.. guys aren't like that.. boys are like that... IF he matures, he MIGHT become humble.. and it seems like that's what your looking for.. which is a good sign that you are more mature than him.. well girls always mature faster than boys anyways..

Even if your friend matures a little bit, and if he has sex with more than one girl, he will most likely brag about that too..So I think you shouldn't stress over this one boy.. you already know what's good for you. You can hate him if you want.. no big deal.. People are not very humble these days so its a very good quality to look for.

Thanks that cleared things up for me, I mean I have been making a big deal out of this guy, and that's usually a bad habit of mine. I realize there are so many guys out there and I shouldn't fall short for what I believe in. I mean there's a lot of mean and arrogant people out there, I still need to learn how to deal with them without making me angry.

Oh yea.. your right about that.. once your out of school, you'll realize that people will p*ss you off like no other your gonna start noticing real world things going on around you.. things you don't have the power to change.. but would give anything to change... I suggest you get a punching bag.. its an awesome stress reliever.
