There was a dinner event and all of us were assigned seats. The guys at my table were mostly in their mid to late 20s, perhaps a few in their 30s or above.
My question... why do men talk about their girlfriends to other guys? In such an enthusiastic way? For a long time all I was hearing were things along the lines of "She is so hot!" "What a catch!" "Do you want to see a picture?" "Look!"
I can't say one way or the other about my opinion on their appearance, as I did not actually see the photos for myself.
I get that they must really like who they're dating, and are "proud" (I hope for reasons other than merely appearance, too)... but, really, is there any other purpose, intention, or pretext behind it?
