Do guys get annoyed when girls text them?

so this guy I'm really into gave me his number on Monday.. & we have texted a little.. but not all that much.. & my friends are all saying to play these games.. which I'm not into at all.. & I feel like it's just gonna backfire & have him lose interest in the end..

so how often do guys like girls texting them? & do they really like these damn games? cause I don't think they do.. but what do I know.. I'm just a girl.. & do they like girls to initiate some of the texting?

I don't think a guy wouldn't mind at all if you texted him often only if it had relevance to it...cause uf there is no relevance or a topic to talk about then the convo kinda jus dies after saying "hey wats sup" and the situation gets weird and confusing. Another thing is don't reply right after he messages you cause he will think you are so eager to talk to him and you were just waiting for his message..it just kinda seems weird to the other person

if you have something relevant to say and not just "hey what's up" or "hey where are you" every minute then no, the guy probably won't get annoyed. I don't speak for all guys, but I don't like playing those games and those actually annoy me rather than the girl I like sending me a friendly text here and there

Do you mind a 'hey what's up?' every once in awhile? I want to initiate conversation once in awhile.. but I don't wanna be annoying.. haha.. I'm horrible at this..

Nah, a "what's up" or "how ya doing?" make me feel like she cares and she's been thinking of me which makes me happy. it's when a girl will just continuously message you with the same thing and it's only been like..5 minutes since the last time she text you and obviously nothing new has happened is when it gets annoying.

Got it.. we haven't texted since like 12:30 this afternoon.. I just feel like I'll be bothering him every time I text him which I'm sure isn't the case.. but I wish I got more feedback on my other question.. cause I need reinforcement he's actually into me.. I mean I know he gave me his number but I'm sure guys have done it before that weren't interested..

What I like is when a girl will text me but not respond in half a second like she was waiting for my text to come in. Maybe 4-5 texts per hour from you max to keep him interested and then you will not run out of things to talk about.
