What's your first thought when you see black people with blue eyes?

I saw a baby (she was black) at the grocery store with curly blonde hair and medium blue eyes. Her hair color was really light like almost platinum blond, she wasn't albino tho. I was taken aback by her looks.

Some of these look photoshopped. I think my first thought is that it's going to be tough for them because they're "not black enough" to be accepted socially by other blacks. Sadly.

My daughter was born with blue eyes but they are dark hazel now. My youngest daughter just had a baby with blue eyes and sandy blonde hair. My daughters father was born without pigmentation in his skin but he was not albino. So I don't think it's odd at all.

These are looked upon as unique or strange because they are extremely rare. On the flip side of the coin, 90% of Finlanders have blue eyes so no one gives a second thought to that

Not all black people who are born with straight hair and/or like eyes are mixed neither do they have to have a non-black ancestor. It's been discovered that black people carry a gene that can allow us to have offspring with any skin color, hair texture or eye color. Other races have to mix for that to happen. But all of it is beautiful.

You really need to do your research. There are tribes in Africa that haven't mixed with other races nor have their ancestors. Their history has been documented from then til now, although they don't live in any of the modern parts but they have their own ways of doing things. They have straight hair but it's not from their ancestors mixing. There are genetic tests today that can you if you're 97% black but have ancestors from Spain or wherever. They have not been mixed at all. It's like the people of who live on the Solomon islands. They carry a native gene called TYRP1. Scientists have long thought that their blonde hair was a result of a diet high in fish, perhaps bleaching by the sun and salt water, or a reminder of the island’s historic relations with people of European descent.

In fact, the blonde Melanesians have blonde that is unique solely to them. According to the study in which scientists compared 43 blonde hair islanders to 42 dark hair islanders, blonde Melanesians have a variant of a native gene called TYRP1 that plays an important role in the melanin biosynthetic pathway. This variant is completely separate from what causes blonde hair in Europeans, and doesn’t even exist in the European genetic set.

Blacks do carry certain genes that other races do not and can not. I'm not trying to divide anyone, I'm just stating facts. You can travel the world and find small tribes of black people who have never ventured out of their village, nor had any of their ancestors broken the rules and ventured out or have mixed with other races but have straight hair, gray and blue eyes etc... Blacks can be born with any skin color, hair texture or eye color alllll on their own without having a white, Asian etc ancestor. My mother has a friend whose daughter keeps having 'weird' babies. I call it weird because she had a baby born with pink eyes, yes pink. But the child's eyes never kept still and they were always dilated and moving rapidly. She can't see and has other health issues but refuses stop having kids.
