I disagree at least with the dating/women thing. I have several friends who are specifically more attracted to Asian men. I have been attracted to guys of all races, and have more than once had a thing for an Asian guy.
I think as far as who gets their choice of who to date, black women have it the worst. Men within their own ethnicity turn them down for reasons unbeknown to me.
I actually read in TIME magazine this week the statistics for what races/genders reply to other races/genders on dating sites. Asian men WERE lower, but black women were the lowest. The lowest for men was East Indian men (but I'm guessing from personal experience that's based on...eh... stereotypes and behaviors some women have noticed from some Indian men...)
I'm not saying everything is all fine and dandy... in the dating field Asian men definitely don't have it as easy as Asian women or white or black men, but they aren't the worst off, and its not completely dismal.
Correction .. Not "ALL" black men date outside their race . Totally untrue , the survey is based on men that prefer to date non black women . I know plenty of black men who date black women .

Part of why Black women have it so bad is because they are more likely to want to stick to their own race. At least black women are seen as sexy. Black women are portrayed as desirable in movies, magazines, music videos etc. Asian guys barely exist in those mediums. How many decent looking black women do you think would have any trouble getting laid? Sure, being wanted only for sex may suck, but not being wanted at all is much worse.

I love Bruce Lee too. He was a great PERSON who happened to be Chinese. And I can understand how he was important to Chinese people trying to find acceptance in America but still I really don't see why Chinese people should feel any more proud of him than any other people. I think you may be able to identify with him on an ethnic level more but "Proud"?

Across the board and ac cross the millions of people at OKCupid, the Asian Male is at least 6-7% points behind white males. So sure it can bug you, but its also the truth and no whining. There is actual data supporting it.

It's just the internet, but how does this 'study' apply to the real world? I'm pretty sure that the question asker is deluded, and possibly retarded at that.
What do you think of my answer? I tried to be (realistically) encouraging and give you a few pointers.
If anything, this guy is a troll for not posting anything even mildly useful. It's just one site, t probably doesn't even have a proper correlation with anything, probably just pure coincidence.
It also looks to me like the site hasn't taken into account that the amount of Asian and white guys are not actually noticed. For example, there could be double the amount of white guys using the site than Asian, meaning the chances of an Asian actually sending or receiving a message from another member of the site is slimmer than a white person purely because there is less of them using the site - nothing to do with who likes what at all.
Re: Envy, the data shown is not pure numbers but it is looking at the ratios of replies. The truth is Asian males do not get response rates that they should. Remember this is across a million users, so it isn't just like 3 people.
Personally, I feel like it is something you can overcome. It is just an uphill battle. And it shouldnt be, but there you go.
Just be thankful you're not an Asian man in Asia. Or worse, an Asian woman in Asia. The Economist recently ran an article about skewed gender ratios in Asian countries, and apparently in some places it's as high as 100:146 female to male (while the cut off for what is considered natural is 100:108). Yeah, so if you lived in certain parts of Asia, you'd be competing with so many other men you might never get laid, or worse if you were a girl you'd have to worry about being pursued, sometimes raped by all these dudes, and on top of that being forced to kill your children if they are female. (Some of the highest suicide rates for women are in China and South Korea)
So stop complaining and be thankful you're even IN America.

DON"T DO IT! as someone who has contemplated giving up on life and committing suicide before because of my depression I totally understand. But there are people in your life that love you who would be extremely hurt if you chose to end your own life. even if there isn't a special lady in your life right now, it doesn't mean there is no hope for the future for you.
Personally I have liked several guys who were not very attractive because they had confidence and a great personality. Just work on being more confident and your looks will not hold you back.
And even though I would agree with the fact that asian men probably do have it worse off than any other race in america, there are exceptions to every rule and if you just have patience and confidence someone someday will be attracted to you.

I disagree. Asian women can NOT get any white guy they want, in AUS only a minority of white guys go for Asian girls, most of them prefer the blonde Aussie girls. People don't dislike you BECAUSE you are Asian, it's probably because you dislike yourself and they pick up on that vibe.

Well not all asian girls have benefits either...just japanese/filipino/korean/chinese/thai etc do...what about indians? I think they are the most discriminated against in the U,S not in general but in terms of dating and stuff...yeah I know its so stupid to judge people by color its the most unfair thing EVA! idc what color my guy is...i don't really have a preference...as long as I find him attractive:)

Hey, just ran across your question, and I just wanna let you know that I LOVE Asian men! I'm really interested in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean culture; I lived in Japan for a year and speak Japanese (the Chinese and Korean languages are a lot harder to get access to in my Midwestern college...) It's rather strange, I always had the OPPOSITE problem of you: it seemed Asian men didn't like white women! (Or at least not me.) The whole year in Japan, not a single guy approached me, and if I tried to talk to them, they'd freak out or seem really cold and uninterested. Most of the Asian guys in my area are Hmong, and their community seems kind of close knit... So even Asian guys in my area don't seem interested in interracial dating.
But honestly, there are girls like me out there; I've even poked around Chinese and Japanese dating websites. I think you just need better luck in connecting with those of us who are into who you are!
Also, just so ya don't think I don't understand where you're coming from, I've always been super jealous of Asian women.... it seems 99% of straight guys think they are the epitome of sexy. I knew so many guys who went to Japan just to nail an Asian chick... it was depressing...

I have never said there wasn't, if you are trying to accuse me of saying all Asians are the same. You are the one that grouped all Asians together. Now you're differentiating? Yes, there is. There is also a difference between Western European whites, and Eastern European, and North American, etc. There are differences between blacks. There are huge differences between all the different hispanics, not to mention Spain hispanics vs. South American hispanics.

I'm a quarter japanese and I'm very muscular and athletic. I wasn't that way before, but I worked for it. If you work at it you can overcome anything that you feel insecure about except for changing your race. A loser is someone who gives up and sits there like there's nothing you can do about it. Right now you're acting like a loser. Girls have different tastes and there's many girls out there that are willing to date you. So get out there man. Don't let being asian keep you down. Look at people like Keanu Reaves. He's part asian and girls love him (or used to love him back when he did the matrix...).

i really just want to say that i grew up in the us and i had and still have guys of all races hitting on me. i turned them all
down, not because of their race but because they didn't attract me. people don't believe me when i say this. they don't believe that i don't find other races more attractive. what they don't get is that i don't feel like i need to up my status. i only seem to be attracted to east Asian males and yes looks matter but it goes beyond that.
I carry your burden as well. But I have to say, I agree with most of the posters here- that in order to overcome an obstacle, one must give it all they got. So our obstacle is greater, big deal...asian men can take it. We were given a chance to live so why not make the most of it? Our problem is living in a society where we aren't good at navigating or functioning in and getting the girls. Some countries have problems like no water, no food, no money.
