Nude art modeling only for skinny people?

Do people who are a little on the chunky side have a chance at nude art modeling? Would it be wrong for a chubby person to do this?

For some reason I actually prefer the idea of women with a bit of meat on their bones to do nude modelling. I don't know what it is, but the idea just appeals more to me than to have a real skinny woman modelling.

be considered fat or chubby, which simply is not true. This woman is average. And is what I mean by who I prefer to do nude art modelling.

Well, it wouldn't be wrong. I'd want to hit anyone who says otherwise.
But I personally wouldn't be totally interested unless the art had a profound meaning or caught my interest in some way.

Like posing for people to sketch you? Actually, it's pretty good for body diversity to be a thing for art classes. It's not really gonna help anyone improve their art skills to draw a body more or less the same every single week, y'know? By drawing a chubbier person, it's developing their art skills by challenging them with different shapes and different shading and lines. It's a good thing.

Plenty of people that aren't that skinny model for life drawings and photographs at my college. It's not a big deal at my school, people are pretty accepting. It's not wrong, it just might be harder to find a place to do it, depending on what the artist envisions for their work.

I assume you mean posing for artists as in nude portraits. Nothing wrong with being a bit chubby, and many of the classic art subjects were chubby. One exception was the Pre-Raphaelite artist John WIlliam Waterhouse. Many of the earlier artists always painted chubby subjects. Go for it!

I really think that within art there is a lot more about the human form that is being explored than modern western beauty standards. So 100% no, nude art modeling is for everyone.

Seriously? It's about the human figure. No one gives a shit what the model weighs, how old they are, what they look like, etc
