I wouldn't mind it it's a ways to show affection but I would be awkward with the hug. We don't really hug people in my country (except lover and family) so it ll be really weird for me

I like it. My boyfriend uses endearing nicknames for me. It ' s a way of bonding and showing affection. It ' s not something bad. Quite the contrary.
