Girls: if a guy comments your photos?

If a guy who you're kinda friends with, both are able to share a laugh sometimes together, but rarely talk to each other (like a hello every 2 months or so) comments your photos (whether its flirty or non flirty) what do you think and how do you react?

Cause that exact scenario is with me and this girl, I'm really shy and insecure so I don't talk to her much. However I'm able to make her laugh at the times we do talk and she does start a conversation with me on occasion.

I was just like you with the girl I liked... although I was more comfortable talking to her in-person, but when it came to indirect communication, I was scared... It leaves her the option to ignore, which is really scary and when you like someone like that, it hurts... I'd make her laugh and everything too and it just made me think there was such potential for us to get together, and among other signals...

I just wanna say that if you get closer to her and you start liking her even more, like what happened with me, just be careful. She might like the attention more than she likes you... I don't know why girls seem to string guys along like that so much, but it happened to me and it's really really hurtful. I'm the shy guy too and I'd say I'm more in-tune with my emotions than most other guys, and I assume other shy guys are the same...

I got trapped in this whole "string-along" game whether it was intentional or not, and just be careful and do your best to avoid it... It's really hurtful.

Don't use Facebook, Myspace, or anything like that. It will ruin things quicker than calling her fat. Either talk to her in person or not at all. And before you think I'm a "ladies man", I'm not. I'm shy just like you, and I've chosen the "not talk to her" route :)

If I notice he comments on a lot of people's pictures, it won't mean anything to me. But if I am one of the few girls he takes the time to write stuff to, I might wonder about it. For me, the only guys that have commented on my profile picture have all been interested in me at some point. So I do kinda think it's something more when a guy does it (only for profile pictures), but I never really assume he likes me until he does something bold lol.

You should make an effort to talk to her more! Gotta love Facebook chat! =]

I think she just thinks your are being nice, you need force your self to come out and say something that lets her know that you're interested or send her a private message saying something like 'i just want you to know I think you're really hot..not a joke'...or 'i think I'm really into you' ...or you could improvise, not too much because you need to get to the point and lets see what she says1 go for it and keep us updated (good or bad)

eh, its just a photo comment, its nice that you commented it and everything, but it won't like mean anything big for me haha. but its nice that you compliment her!
