Guys/girls do you get awkward when watching sex scenes from a movie with your opposite sex friends?

So I went over my guy friend's house and we were watching a new movie and there was a sexual scene there. I got really awkward and I started looking at my phone. Very awkward situation. So why is that? Do you guys get awkward when watching a sex scene with a girl it doesn't have to be your girlfriend?

These scenes are casually meant for the viewers to also engage in a little intimacy. Hence the date nigh movie. When watching it with a platonic friend, obviously awkwardness will happen.

It was kind of uncomfortable once when watching with a friend of mine, but now we just laugh it off.

Yes, it's awkward, especially if you're with someone who you're not in a relationship with but have feelings for.

I would make it a light hearted funny moment and would most likely caption the movie with my own words and phrases :)
