Appearance has been PROVEN to help you with getting a job unless it threatens the person hiring you.I can cite sources if need be, that's my opinion.
It's based on looks no matter what, if you're ugly you won't be hired, the interview is just to get a look at you. Most of the time, especially on weekends, managers are too busy to actively recruit and a lot of the time people they recruit last less than a month, it stops becoming a glamour job once you realize you actually have to do something. I don't bother learning new peoples names until they've been there a month
They actually do. It's also common practice at even places like fast food restaurants to put the best looking employees on cashiers talking with the customers
Actually they have a uh....well they are protected against suing.They do base it on looks
Wrong, they changed the floor position name to model which implies certain physical traits and if those traits aren't there or go away you can be fired. When they got sued the people on the floor were called brand reps. They could go back to only hiring people with blond hair and blue eyes but it's a bad PR move
